Trick Or Treat StudiosHalloween 1978 Michael Myers Mask White

I’m certain like many of you, I also heard the horror stories about this seller and others while also spending countless hours searching both Amazon and eBay for a reliable description. This mask is shockingly hard to find reliably online, so I took a gamble with Trick or Treat Studios and I’d say it paid off for me. It looks exactly like the 1978 mask, except for the hair. The hair is a bit too “neat” than depicted in the stock photo. However it’s worth remembering that when filming the original movie, the filmmakers had to ruffle up the hair manually, which is what I ended up doing. The rest of the mask is pretty spot on.Also our memories of that original mask are often obscured by the incredible lighting department of the filmmakers (and the positive emotions created because of it). In the end, this gets the job done really well and doesn’t at all look like those crazy cheap knockoff masks. For such a simple design, even Hollywood couldn’t replicate the look of that original mask for practically all of the Halloween sequels. The only other film to have the original mask was Halloween II, and the reason it looks different is because the person wearing it wasn’t the same as in the original film.If indecision is killing you (like it was for me), just go with ToTS’s mask here. It’s a gamble but you have better odds with this than the other sellers in my opinion.

Best let this thing air out for quite awhile. The latex will burn your face but over time if you press on the latex burn will go away. A little pain is worth the show you can put on and the looks on the kids faces. Shown here with articulated fingers found on Amazon.

Michael Myers 1978 Trick-Or-Treat Studios mask is definitely worth the buy.These particular masks they do average around $60 apiece and in my opinion they are definitely worth it.Because I have a big head I was a little hesitant on how it would actually fit and to my surprise upon looking at it what really took me by surprise was how dark the hair is and I wasn’t a major issue to me it looks fantastic.I tried on the mask and it fits like a charm. If it is absolutely quite well on my head.Now I will tell you this I also have a Trick-Or-Treat Studios version of the 2018 Michael Myers mask and that one does not fit my head or it can be extremely tight if you are force it on your head and I tried it and it is too tight so I don’t actually wear it.There are some discrepancies when it comes to Trick-Or-Treat Studios and their masks as they did have a tendency to have certain flaws as they are in fact mass-produced.Now there are in fact some high and Michael Myers masks that will cause your pretty penny and they are usually handcrafted by individuals.Trick or Treat Studios used to be like the until they got extremely popular and now the area mass-produced.With this in mind there was only really one flaw that I noticed it was in fact the paint scheme underneath the chin was a little yellow.In most cases people will eventually paint their masks as that’s what they do, but for me I will have a problem with the way it looks and looks pretty sitting on my shelf.The quality of the past is definitely spot on it has a decent thickness to so you can apply a little pressure in stretching without actually tearing like a cheap mask would.If you want to invest roughly around $60 in a mask like this it is worth it as it does look pretty decent for the most part.

Great mask. Was looking on Amazon forever trying to find a decently priced one, but seemed like none were the real deal. This mask is a little pricey, but it’s legit! Looks just like the real Michael Myers mask and fits my large head perfectly. I’m very happy with this purchase. Money well spent, thank you :)Also arrived very quickly, ahead of the scheduled time. The mask looks awesome and very accurate to the movie. It’s comfortable to wear and fits good, but it does have a weird smell to it. Somewhat difficult to breathe. The hair is sticking out weirdly, but combing and adjustments should fix it. I also wore a black spandex mask under the mask to darken out the eyes. It works quite well and makes it look scarier! Overall, 9/10 mask.

Overall the quality of the mask is pretty good, definitely better than most other ones I've found on Amazon. I only have two real complaints. First, I don't know if I just have a big head or not, but it fits snug, which makes the eye holes press against my face. I would prefer to not have my eyes visible, as Michael is supposed to have the blackest eyes... The devil's eyes. So maybe I'll just add some black sheer over the eye holes to mask it.The hair might also start to fall out if you wear it too much, but I figure if you're doing it just for costume parties, or cosplay, it should hold up just fine! Ultimately I recommend!
