Swing Out Trash Can Waste Bin 12L Automatic Touchless Lid Opens w/ Cabinet Door

Be aware when we tried to install these on our kitchen cabinets they would not install correctly because the frame around the cabinet front is about an inch deep and this product needs it to be pretty close to flush with the interior wall. The only way to get this to work correctly would be to put a 1 inch block of wood behind it to bring it close to flush with the door again. The other thing to be aware of is the hinges we have the soft close hinges that stick out about a half inch from the door and this restricts how far you can open the door with the can attached. Lastly, the bracket that holds the garbage can to the interior wall is made of a fairly flimsy plastic. On the product photo it looks like metal, but it is not.

I've been using these for a year. I looked at several solutions for trash cans that would be hidden and not require opening or reaching in to throw things away. I bought 2, one for trash and one for recycling. Note they are on the small side, good for a household of 1-2 people if you're going to use these in the kitchen. The plastic was a little more flimsy than I expected. The lids didn't really align quite right and once the bins get full the lids would get in the way - I ended up taking the lids off and they've been working out pretty well. An easier, space saving, and more affordable alternative to the bins that are on tracks.

Works really well. I wish it was a bit larger, since the small size makes it necessary to empty it and put a new bag in quite frequently. Would be perfect for apartments, not so suitable for a large family with lots of trash generated all the time.

Super helpful in the kitchen! Since I don't like touching/opening the trash can while I'm cooking, or walking all the way through the kitchen to get to a giant trash can, it was perfect. This one is the right size to keep a hygenic environment by using the medium size (supermarket kind) of bags.Instalation process was not so hard, it comes with explicit instructions.

Great idea. But be careful. Some cabinets have construction quirks that require some McIver work. We had to add a board on the interior side of our cabinet to bring the bin out enough in order to operate properly. We have cabinets with full overlay doors which may be the difference. I do like it anyway.

I sent this back. Wasn't as well constructed as I had hoped and too complicated for me to install -- would have tried harder if I thought it the lid and mechanisms would last.

This is a very nice trash can; however, it's not very sturdy! The kid broke just after 2 months of use! It still looks beautiful, but I wish I could still use it with a lid.

The installation of this is beyond impossible and it didnt fit in my cabinet well. If i jury rigged, maybe, but still feel like it's too difficult for what ot does.
