Gift Essentials Seaglass and Driftwood Wind Chime

I am very disappointed as the wood does not seem to be driftwood at all, but recently cut soft wood.I understand that no two pieces of wood would look alike, but the one I received has sharp edges, not at all round and smooth like actual driftwood.Update 4/24/18First of all like my original post this is not real Driftwood it is carved. Second of all this is not Beach glass it is plain glass that is painted. The colors wear off the glass which clearly show that the glass is painted

Very pretty wind chimes with a light tinkling sound. Have to unpack from a lot of bubble wrap and rubberbands, but when they are up, they are beautiful, really like these!

These are pretty, but I was disappointed in two things: 1) rather than driftwood as titled, the glass pieces were strung on a what looks like a rough-hewn piece of 2x2 and 2) the picture depicts glass pieces that seem to be more "gathered" so that they have more contact with each other. The chime I received has the pieces in two straight rows. I have barely heard this since I hung it (and it's been breezy!) I thought this could have made a nice gift, but I would not purchase it again.

I actually liked the amount of green that I received. I thought it was a good mix of greens and blues and went more with the mountain lake theme than a beachy blue theme. I got mine several years ago (2015), and it looks like at that time, they were at least being made with shaped branches and not 2x4s!But I don't mind that it's not real driftwood. I understand that it's hard to find, and I love it anyway. Without the branches, there wouldn'tbe any chimes. I take it down every fall and wrap it in the tissue paper and rubber bands it came in, then roll it in the bubble wrap and store it in the original box until the next summer comes around. It's sort of like Christmas season not being complete without getting out the tree; summer for me isn't here until I take down all the rustic winter seasonal mountain decor and put up the summer themed mountain lake ones, like this windchime. I would recommend it without hesitation. It's brought me much joy the last 4 years.

Priced a little high, but, if you want a glass wind chime your choices are very limited. On the other hand the quality of this item was higher than I expected - the chimes are attached to the wood by cord that looks like it will last a long time. Each chime is drilled and tied - some have cord that is glued on. If you remember the inexpensive glass chimes from the 60's this is similar but pitched lower. I would not put this where full blast wind could hit it - porch shelter will help protect from breakage. Would make a really nice gift item.Update: Can't tell when I purchased this - probably a year ago - no broken pieces - the sound is really nice. I have a "sound garden" and this contributes admirably. Will purchase several for Christmas gifts.

Arrived broken. I fixed it with some super glue. Very different looking than the photo. Photo shows a very blue chime; however the one I received is green and blue. It's pretty, so I'll keep it. But not as shown. I'm keeping it indoors, not sure it would withstand a good windstorm.

This is an exquisite windchime! I was skeptical when I ordered it, because the price is so low, compared to other windchimes. When I received it, I was delighted! First of all, it's handmade in Bali. Second, each section was carefully, fastidiously wrapped, to ensure its safe arrival. I love the driftwood top, I love the beautiful seaglass chimes - it has a soft tinkling sound, evoking thoughts of the seaside - I can't say enough wonderful about these chimes! I plan to order a few more of them as gifts, because I cannot imagine anyone I know who wouldn't be thrilled with these gorgeous windchimes!!

I bought this to hang above a window in my home. The chime itself is very cute, it chimes lightly in the breeze and has colors similar to what is shown online. (It is a lot more green than blue--which is okay with me!) The only thing I didn't love was the piece of "driftwood" that it hangs from- it is a very thin piece of wood that kind of resembles driftwood. Nothing like the picture. Other than that, for the price... it's an okay chime.
