loved it, sticking, then loved it again.
I previously wrote a review that I loved this pan so much that I bought 2 more within the first month. Then, it stopped working. I then wrote this review "It looks nice and has a coating that seems strong and resistant to scratches and has the right weight but, after the first few weeks, everything sticks. I've tried butter, cooking spray, Crisco, Olive Oil, Coconut oil and nothing keeps it from sticking. I am not able to make a fried egg without breaking the yoke upon taking it out. It still looks great but I need a new pan."Then, the company contacted me following my review and offered to send me a new pan. They also offered a few suggestions such as a sticky surface "can be remedied by scrubbing the pan with a scouring pad (you may also use steel wool for the more stubborn stains) and regular dish soap. This should not damage the nonstick finish. Another thing you can try to fix the stickiness of the pan is to boil soap water in the pan for about 10 - 15 minutes. After that, you can throw away the water, let the pan cool and then scrub the pan with a heavy duty scrubber." I followed their suggestions and 'low and behold' the pan is working great again. I had no idea there was a non-stick pan that could be scrubbed with a brillo pad!!! It's back to being the favorite pan I've ever owned. It is a heavier pan so food cooks more evenly and I have found best results when cooking on lower temperatures than I had previously used when using lower quality pans. It really is an attractive and superior performing pan. I love that the cooking surface is so tough. The company added "While usually not required, seasoning the pan may help keep your cookware in peak condition. To season: briefly heat up the pan on the stove, apply a thin coat of oil for a few moments, and wipe off the excess with a cloth or paper towel. We can recommend seasoning the pan after cleaning with the previously described method. If you are still experiencing issues with sticking, please let us know. The pans are covered under a 12-month warranty and we will be able to send replacements for any pans with defective coating."I'm really pleased with the product, the company and the customer service. They really stand behind their products.

Solidly Built -w/Excellent Non-Stick Surface
This Item was purchased in 12/2015 and has used for the past 5 months. I can say that the surface is as non-stick as it was new. I usually use just the slightest bit of spray oil (out of habit I guess), but have made eggs in this pan many times without any, and they did not stick. It wipes clean, and I use a soapy sponge to wash. What I like most about this item is that it feels as though it was machined from a solid block of aluminum, and not stamped from a sheet. The handle would be my only complaint, it is quite wide and seems overkill for the small pan (that said, my wife prefers this handle to the previous pan, so this is obviously a point of personal preference).I was contacted by the seller/manufacturer and offered a free copy of the item for my honest review, and since I have been using my paid-full-price version for the past few months, I jumped on it. I carefully compared the brand new item with the one I had been using. The 5 month old pan shows virtually no signs of wear when compared to brand new. I only use silicone or wood utensils, but am less careful when putting the pan away, and thus the only points where the non-stick finish does show wear, is on the outer edge of the lip, where it comes into contact with other pots and pans in the cabinet. The wear is minimal at the 5 month point, and I had look hard to notice it at all (and likely would not have if I had not been comparing the two).

The best nonstick pan I've ever used… and I've tried them all
Never heard of Amore Kitchenware? Me either! Yet, this small company has managed to do what no one else in my experience has ever done: make a nonstick pan that STAYS nonstick longer than most, and is actually easy to clean. Please understand that, over the last 20 years, I have used EVERY MAJOR BRAND OF NONSTICK COOKWARE MADE. Really. Every type of coating, every brand of pan … from Anolon to Circulon. From All Clad to Cuisinart, T-Fal to Tramontina, Green Pan to ScanPan, ultra cheap to ultra expensive. And the result is always the same: they start out slick and invariably get stickier over time. And, if you're on a dietary plan that requires cooking spray, as mine does, it's even worse. Yes, I'm well aware that most major nonstick vendors recommend not using cooking spray, as any spray not contacted by food quickly turns to residue that's almost impossible to wash off. However, some foods -- like the Medifast products I use -- have a penchant for sticking no matter what the pan coating is, and only cooking spray will keep that from happening. Plus there's the benefit of some crisping when you need or want it.I'm happy to say that The Flamekiss pans -- and ONLY these pans -- have been able to handle cooking spray with no problems at all! There's no residue buildup and they wash clean every time. Months later, and the love is still happening. I have no idea what it is that makes these pans so different, other than their proprietary micro-ceramic coating. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right. As a plus, the pans look great too. AND they have small indents on both sides to make pouring off liquid, should the need arise, a breeze; again something I often don't see from the "other guys." The cherry on top? The bigger pans comes with lids. All this at a price that's in a very sweet spot.My only hope now is that the company sees the light and decides to make some pots to go along with their pans.
