Makes makeup a breeze
Once I learned that you’re supposed to wet your beauty blender before using it (lol) it was a game changer. It helps smooth out my foundation like nothing else. I have brushes galore but the one thing I still come back to, daily, is this.I also appreciate this one because it doesn’t change color and begin to look all muddled when it gets foundation on it. It might not be the prettiest color to begin with (though it does have a nice aesthetic look), it just stays so clean looking. It’s going to be unlike anything you’ve used to apply makeup. If you haven’t tried one yet, please do yourself a favor and try one. (And don’t smear. Do the tap, tap, tap to apply. But it won’t take you forever like some other methods feel like they do. It will blend it so fast). 🥰

THE BEST
What can I say! This is iconic for a reason, and there’s a reason why I buy this again and again. Amazing and honestly a game changer for make up application.

Beauty Blender BEST!
Beauty Blender hands down has the best makeup sponge! I can't tell you how many of these i've purchased in different sizes and colors for myself, gifts, etc. I especially like the black as it doesn't look "dirty" even when it's in need of a deep cleaning. I've kissed so many of my brushes goodbye and love the even application this provides!

Original Beauty Blender: The Best for a Flawless Finish
The Original Beauty Blender lives up to all the hype! It’s my go-to tool for applying foundation, concealer, and even cream blush. The sponge is soft and bouncy, making it easy to blend products seamlessly into my skin. It gives me a flawless, airbrushed finish every time, without any streaks or harsh lines.I love that it’s versatile—you can use it wet or dry depending on the type of finish you’re going for, and it works equally well for liquid or powder products. The texture is gentle on the skin, and it doesn't absorb too much product, which means I get the most out of my makeup.Cleaning it can be a bit of a task, but with the right cleanser, it’s not too difficult, and it lasts for a long time with proper care.Overall, the Original Beauty Blender is worth the investment for anyone looking to achieve a flawless, smooth makeup application. I highly recommend it!

Don't Buy the WHITE one.
I really like the BeautyBlender make up sponge; the resulting makeup finish is very nice, but not quite as spectacular as reviews claim.About the FINISHED LOOK: I was hoping for the air-brushed poreless finish that others have promised, however, it does NOT deliver that. It does, however, offer a smooth, even application that is somewhat akin to, but ever so slightly better that, a very careful fingertip application. Using this sponge (at the pointy end, for crevices) does have benefit of being more gentle on the eye area (where one should avoid tugging, etc). I DO find this highly superior to using a brush or "regular" make up sponge, but not significantly better than a good fingertip application. What I REALLY LOVED it for: Powers. While it less than impressed me with liquids, I was surprised to find that I truly loved it for applying powers and blushes. Good blending and non-caking finish. Excellent.Aside from it's good-but-less-than-promised results there are three NEGATIVES to note:1: Cleaning Issue #1. (Easily fixed.) Don't order the white one. Just don't. Get the pink. It's very hard to get the white one completely clean2. Cleaning Issue #2. Takes forever to rinse out. Keeping it clean and bacteria free is important, so you will clean it after each use. Which take several minutes. Any time you save by using this will be more than used up by the minutes (plural!) you spend cleaning your sponge. 3-5 minutes a day on "sponge care" is 2.5 to 4.5 minutes too many. Cleaners need to work better.3. Makeup hog. I find I use 30-50% more foundation than when using my fingers. It does soak up more than a bit of product.

Updated! Just as good as the original!!
I first owned and used the original pink beauty blender and loved it, but my skin didn't. I believe the dye in the original one broke out my skin. I also noticed every time I cleaned the pink one it leaked the pink color. So I decided to try the Pure version since I loved the sponge so much. And I am so glad I got it! It does a great job, same quality as the original. Delivers a flawless application of my foundation and I love that this cleans up great! I clean mine periodically with my all natural Castile soap (dr bronners) and all the stains disappear! Amazing sponge!Update- January 27th 2014Nearly 3 months in and this is still my go to tool for applying my foundation and concealer. It is amazing! I have tried it with powder foundations, liquid and cream (my preferred one) and it does a fantastic job on all of them! This is a fantastic tool for people who have sensitive skin, acne prone, etc. Using brushes can be more harsh on the skin, more pulling and tugging, hold bacteria, etc. None of that at all with the beauty blender! Mine is stain free also still and I use it a lot! I thought I would offer some helpful tips for anyone who needs it. :)1. Don't clean it immediately after applying your makeup. Clean it after it has dried, like the next morning or at bed time. I have cleaned mine this way from the get go and never have had any staining with it.2. Clean it with a liquid soap or dish soap. I prefer to use a more natural soap (dr bronners liquid Castile soap) but have heard of success using Dawn dish soap too. These will do a better job of getting the stains out verses using your cleanser and are much cheaper than splurging on the beauty blender one! I clean mine every other use. I see some reviews stating they only cleaned theirs once per month or so. That's not smart and slightly annoying that they would write a negative review of this product when it was most likely their own negligence that caused the issues. #1 it's white (hello!) #2. Not washing it will cause it to hold bacteria and could cause irritation or break outs. #3. It can also cause the color of the makeup your applying to be off (if its hoarding weeks worth of old make up). Also I see negative written reviews of people who claim their beauty blender grew mold. Folks, DO NOT store it in a closed container while wet! Thought that was a given, apparently not for everyone. Allow it to dry, and then put the lid on!3. Be gentle when cleaning this tool, no need to scrub the heck out of it. Mine has not been broken or fallen apart, but I take my time cleaning it. Wet it, add a few drops of soap, gently massage it in, rinse and repeat if necessary.4. I highly recommend watching some you tube videos on how to use a beauty blender ( more available on the pink one, doesn't matter the technique is the same). They were very helpful to me in understanding how to use it! There is definitely a technique, so educate yourself on how to properly use it. The payoff is worth it! I get a flawless application of my foundation every time. Then flip it to the pointed end and use it for my under eye concealer. Blends beautifully! That's all I have for now, I will update again in the future! Totally worth the $15 I paid for it!!!
