Comfortable to the hand, good surface for mouse
What I really wanted was a mouse pad with fantasy art that could be used vertically, but all the ones I found had horizontal artwork. This one can be used either way and is attractive. It is not as black as the picture shows, more charcoal, which is why I took off one star (should really be 4 1/2 stars). I do love the feel of it against my hand, and my mouse works properly on its surface. Very attractive and possibly less absorbent than my last pad, which was ruined when I spilled milk on it, because this one is thinner.
