We installed two of these for our front porch. The porch is covered, which meets the "damp" rating requirements for this fan. They each came with a 3-speed dial switch for the wall, but we were able to wire the fans from a single switch without any issues. The fans look great and move a lot of air. Our ceiling height is about 12' and we purchased separate 18" extension rods to get them a little closer to the sitting area. These fans are super quiet even at blitz speed on the high setting. We usually run them on #2.My only complaint is that the fan switch does not come with a cover plate. I’ve had the fan for two years now and it has worked great. It quiet, well balanced, and moves a decent amount of air.

Hunter fans are well known and reliable. I specifically chose this model as it was an AC fan. Most DC fans need to be controlled with their included remote which I did not want to mount to the wall. This fan includes a wall control knob that can adjust the speed. The fan was easy to assemble and needed no adjustments to the blades. It quickly reaches the desired speed once turned on and creates a nice breeze keeping the patio cool and the mosquitos away.

We’re very happy with this fan. The color/quality of material isn’t overly nice but matches the price.It comes with two heights for hanging. We selected the shorter height. There’s an extender if you want it to hang lower. There’s an optional speed adjusted you can add to the wall with 3 different speeds.It’s relatively quite and works very well.

Could push more air but for its size it’s decent. Quiet, smooth, would fan with again

Smooth, rock solid running and whisper quiet fan. I like that it is a simple dial wall speed control and not one of their infamous buggy remote systems. Good looking fan with no light kit. They make both 48" and 54" models depending on your room size. MY only problem was that the dial control is not compatible with my existing (multi) "decorator style" wall plate, only a toggle style wall plate. Highly recommended fan and much better than other Hunter products.
