It Wasn't Easy.
It works, but it wasn't easy! I ordered this after receiving an enormous electric bill, it looked like I was paying for the electric consumption of the entire street! This was merely a meter reading error, but it prompted me all the same to start paying attention to our consumption. Amazon delivered it promptly. After opening the box I found the lack of instructions refreshing, thinking to myself this must be really simple to install... it wasn't.There are some instructions on Blue Innovations web site, but not many specific to the wifi model. The website wasn't easy to navigate to find the information I needed. The video was great on mounting the power meter, but getting the power meter unit to "sync" with the wifi bridge was infuriating. The elusive green light never appeared, it reminded me of the Big Bang Theory episode “The Graduation Transmission,” where Howard and Sheldon were trying to get their drone "calibrated".After running in and out more times than I could count I just brought the unit in to try, nope, that didn't work either. After a couple of hours, I gave up. I planned on returning the mess back to Amazon the next day, but left everything plugged in because I was disgusted, cold and tired of walking in and out.I woke up the next morning and while drinking my coffee I noticed the light had indeed turned green. I fired up my browser and sure enough it showed it started recording in the middle of the night, about 10 hours after I had given up. The data has been consistent ever since.The energy cloud data while interesting is only relative for the preceding 24 hour period, and like most everything else is sparsely documented. The cloud partners is really like cloud partner. Plotwatt does give slightly better analytical data, but nothing really "meaty" or actionable. The other partner is confounding, I assume it is the android app interface, but it doesn't work on android 5 (Note 4), it just crashes.Overall, the quality of the unit is shaky, literally. The documentation is lacking and the value minimal. Until there is a way to get more meaningful analysis, this is more of a infotainment device contributing to my energy consumption, rather than helping me to reign it in.

Best Power Monitoring product line out there :)
I am a repeat, customer. I bought this to replace the outside sensor that failed on an earlier version that I had for about 5 years prior to today. that one ran flawlessly. I am hoping for the same this time around. :)I love that I now can now review my electricity usage on my phone or web page. This is a step up from only having a desktop display unit that did not store history. :)FYI the older desktop display does work with this newest meter sensor. I love that I can do both. Real-time on a dedicated display and on my phone or web at the same time.

Poor documentation, difficult setup
Got this from Amazon a few days ago. I followed the instructions for connecting the wifi bridge to the network and the monitor to the bridge. The status lights all indicate that everything is working, but the monitor is not showing up in their Energy Cloud. I’m hoping that it will mysteriously start working as happened to another reviewer. If it does, I’ll update my review. If not, I’ll be returning this.The lack of documentation is extremely frustrating. There is no documentation in the box. The documentation on the website consists of a a few “knowledge base” articles and documentation for different/older versions of their product. In their outdated online guides they have a notice that says "For additional assistance please call one of our Customer Service agents toll free at: 1-866-607-2583, 7 days a week between 8:00am to 11:00pm”. I called the number during the hours stated and got only a recording telling me that documentation and help could be found on their website.Their videos are actually quite good, but there was only one relevant for me: How to install the monitor on a disc-style meter.

Check digital meter compatibility before purchase
This product is easy to install and reasonably easy to set up (if you follow the directions *exactly* - there are also several YouTube videos detailing the setup). Unfortunately, it transpired that it was not compatible with the smart meter attached to the house (Landis & Gyr). Great way to see power usage.
This product provides a simple method to monitor the power consumption of their homes. The hardest part of the installation was determining the type of meter you have. Setting up the bridge was easy and after it was setup, the device was recognized by Iris.
