Tupperware Hard Plastic Spatula (Colors May Vary)

My mother had a Tupperware spatula almost identical to this one that she bought back in the mid-sixties. It was still in her kitchen on the day she passed away at age 74, in 2011. It survived many a mixer beater encounter, melted slightly on one side when left too close to a stove burner and had lots of gouges, nicks and scratches, but it lasted a lifetime. When I searched to see if they still made these wonderful, amazing spatulas, I was thrilled to find they were still available. It is worth every penny, is an essential tool in anyone's kitchen who ever bakes a cake, brownies, cupcakes or makes anything from a batter. It works for icing a cake/cookies, mixes those same batters when you can't find the mixer beaters and is just generally a spatula everyone with a kitchen should have!

This spatula is similar to one previously purchased that I love but is more flimsy. The best detail is that it is all one piece -- very difficult to find. Green was ordered but black was shipped. Works very well in thick batter.

Ordered the turquoise and got an orange. Of all the colors they could have sent, that is the ugliest. I own nothing orange because I HATE the color orange. I'll either stick it in a drawer and never use it or regift it for Christmas. Beware that what you see isn't what you are going to get.

I have had one of these for over 35 years. It is just wearing down. It is a great hard/solid spatula. I use it especially to get dough out of the bowl

So happy to find exactly what I was looking for, the original one lasted 30 years. Excellent price. Wish I could have chosen the color.

I purchased this spatula to replace a 30-year-old one that finally broke. I'm glad to say that it looks like the same great quality product. It's very useful for heavy doughs or other thick, hard-to-scrape foods.

I like my orange spatula. It not only brings back memories of using one in the kitchen with my mom growing up, it functions better than these new floppy ones that separate from the handles. I've used it several times already. No, you can't use it to mix ingredients in a pot over the stove but I have wooden utensils for that. I like my vintage tupperware.

The dog chewed up my wife's old Tupperware spatula. She really loved how well it worked and I was happy to find the exact same model (but a different color) for such a good price online. It seems these spatulas are special hostess gifts for Tupperware parties and are hard come by. They aren't even available on the Tupperware website.
