Radica Big Screen Solitaire

Like to play the solitaire while I’m watching TV. Helps to make me sleepy so I can cork off at a decent time. Really enjoying the game. Hope it holds together mechanically/electronically for a good long time.

Game is great, but needs back-light feature. Can't understand why this wasn't incorporated in design of it. The main reason for rating is the ridiculous price. Get real !

Great for the plane, car or any time you want to make a HUGE block of time go by without noticing it. Really easy to use. Batteries seem to last a long time. And it seems fairly durable (with the exception of maybe dropping on concrete or running it over with the car).The best part is that you can turn off the sound so you can play without all the beeps and craziness.If there are two or more of you that are interested in this game you WILL need to buy one for each of you. No joke, you'll be fighting over who gets to play with it.**UPDATE**Did I mention that the batteries last a REALLY long time? How 'bout four years, and going? Yeah, four years! No, it's not sitting in a drawer; it gets played often.And after four years, all of the buttons still work. How often does that happen with toys?

We also have the Radica Pocket Tic-Tac-Toe & Pocket Checkers games. I think this Solitaire is the best of the Solitaire games I've seen. It has two types of solitaire you can play. It also has a timer to play against. It is not over-designed, therefore is easy to navigate. You will win about as many times as you would playing solitaire with a deck of cards. A real positive with this game is that it will not let you mess up. You cannot play a card where it will not go & then the game tells you that you lost. The only thing you should watch is if you push 'draw' prematurely, you cannot 'go back' and you might lose the card you wanted to play. Just don't be heavy handed around the 'draw' button & you'll be fine. I highly recommend this game. ALL Radica games are much superior to the other brands.

It's a good devise but I sent it back because I already had a devise that did the same thing for $25.00. So I didn't think I needed one that cost that much.

Not as described. Paid a premium price this. Needed a large machine for elderly person. Described as 10+ inches tall. It is only 5 inches tall.

I have bought a few Solitaire hand held games for a person who is sickly and recovering from a stroke. Because of their sizes they did not work for her. When i first saw the bigger one I avoided it because of the price. I finally decided that Radica makes good games and so this looked like it could be a better fit for my friend. It was. It was easy to read and the placement of the buttons worked really well for her. she can spend hours playing without forgetting how to play and without getting overly tired. Her happiness makes me happy and, needless to say, Amazon you are great!

I liked the fact it was in great condition and works as it’s suppose to. Price was a little high. But am glad I could get it for my husband.
