I needed a reliable, safe product for my small yet very willful dogs. This works very well.Battery life seems sufficient - just remember to turn them off after use. The vibe feature is all I usually need unless my hard headed little guy smells an animal on our walks, then a slight correction works great. No more running and screaming after him through the woods. Haha.Both my dogs like the collars and get excited when I take them out because they know it means it is walk time.When used responsibly and correctly, these are a great training tool.

Works well for training, battery life is challenging as a trainer told us. He thinks they over charge and then lose battery life. I tend to agree now. Not sure if they have a battery charging chip to stop charging when full, or if they burn out due to over charge. Looking to see if I can replace the battery now.

This is my second Dogtra IQ Mini. I love it. I do not have a fence but I can still let my dog out and not worry about him wondering off. I use the vibration mode the majority of the time. The shock mode is for emergency use. I let my pup out one morning and did not notice the deer in my yard since it was dark out. He went to chase them and I got him to stop with one tap on the shock setting. Before using you need to turn all the way down and test on yourself turning it up very gradually until u can just start to feel it. That is the setting you should then use. I recommend this color to everyone when they ask about it.

I just received this product last night. The box seems like it had already been opened the instructions said to charge receiver and remote for two hours since they come with a partial charge when leaving the warehouse. When I plugged it in the green lights came on after one minute which means it’s fully charged already. The clicker does not work at all. We shall see how long the life of this charge lasts and how well the color works once I begin training.

I like the ability to either vib or shock at different intensity levels. You just need to be cautious at first because it is very easy to increase intensity levels if u r not paying close attention. Bottom line: Great unit for the price!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this, and I am happy that I did. This works great and is very easy to use. I have always been a little hesitant to use this sort of product, but the key is really as easy as reading and following the instructions. If you don't, and you get a bad result...then it really is your fault.Just always use the lowest setting possible to get your dogs attention, and then train from there. These are training collars, and you still need to do the actual training. Also, take the collar off of your dog when not in use and/or at night time. Don't always leave it on.Anyway, it works great and I would recommend it to any responsible pet owner who will take the time to learn how to properly use this trainer.

I use this for my Shizpoo. She’s a barker. I only use the vibration. But sometimes I’m afraid I’ll accidentally hit the zap button.

I have a very stubborn Australian Shepherd that barks at everything. Nothing at all was working to stop his barking until I tried this collar. YOU control when it shocks, how high the intensity of the shock is and whether it is just a tiny little shock or more of a 10 second shock. It also has a setting for vibration only in case you are only wanting to get your dog's attention. I cannot even begin to tell you how much more peaceful my home is now. I use the collar on walks too to control him barking and lunging at other dogs. Now when he see's another dog all he does is walk on by them with just an occasional glance. This collar is a God Send! Worth every dime!
