My Maine Coon, Monty, had some bloomer mats deeeeep in the undercoat. I sprayed the problem areas, grabbed a brush, and very smoothly, without him even flinching, the mats came away. The detangler smells nice, and works a charm. Loooooove this stuff.

Great stuff for my Maltipoo because he matts. However, a little goes a long way, so don't use too much or they come out greasy looking. I suggest spraying it and then rub it around the hair and brush it through. My little guy has allergies and this stuff is awesome for that.

This product is wonderful. Have a long-haired white Persian cat. In the winter his fur develops a lot of static after he is petted. I put a little warm water on my hands, 2 squirts of the Detangler, lightly rub my hands together and then lightly apply to my cat's fur. First couple of times he kept walking away rather quickly so I was walking and applying over his fur. Now he seems to know this routine makes his fur feel better (and smell wonderful) so he stands still while I apply all over his fur and then brush it in. No more fly-away fur. Also, a few squirts on a damp paper towel to help clean area under his tail when litter, etc. mats into his fur after he uses the litter box. Can also squirt directly on that area and then brush. Either way makes it easier to brush litter and mats away.

Love, love this product! I have a long haired cat that matts very badly. I spray this on the brush and comb and then some on my hands to rub through his coat. When I brush him, I see the difference immediately. He's very shiny, soft and tangle free. It smells clean and fresh. I wil definitely be buying more of this.

this is a nice smelling spray. Using it on cat and dog to freshen them up and brush them. Their fur looks shiny and smells so good. I tried different sprays that left my dog smelling so nasty. This one doesn't.

My long-haired double coated dog was always getting tangles so I tried this. It didn't work all that great for tangles, though it did help some. It had a strong scent and left a bit of a residue on my dog's fur. And the detangling quality didn't last, so after a couple of tries, I have kind of set it aside.
