My son has ASD, he is just about 5. Bedtime for us takes him over an hour to fall asleep with lots ofGiggles, jumping around and trying to get comfortable. I’ve rolled this on his neck, chest and feet about 40 Minutes before bedtime. For 4 nights now, he’s asleep within 10-15 minutes after getting into bed. We were using malatonin, a couple different brands And it wasn’t working for us. It would make my son wake up around 2-3 am and he wouldn’t go back to sleep. I know that’s also normal for ASD children but I noticed a difference with the melatonin. I stopped using the malatonin for over 2 weeks and knew I needed to find something else that could help since bedtime takes so long to calm down, then I came across this oil. The last 4 nights, he’s slept soild through the night. I truly believe this is helping him calm and go to bed. I have used this brands wart oil and it helped and made the warts disappear and I wanted to try this brand again. I’m also thankful for these oils because my son stopped taking the gummy melatonin. If you’re an autism parent, you’ll understand that. Thank you so much for making our nights easier with our little one!Update: been a few months since we’ve used it as he tires himself out during the day more with more activities/school but when we still need to use it on our not so active days, so we will apply it about 30 mins before bed. Still our go to favorite.Update again: we definitely do not use this oil as much as we used to. We still love it and use it on our son when he wakes in the middle of the nights being ready for the day at 2am. (That’s autism for ya) but not for bedtime usually anymore. He is so active with activities, therapy and school during the days that when bedtime comes, he’s ready for it now.Hope these updates help someone else.

The scent is not my favorite (it reminds me of a pet mess clean up spray scent I’ve used) but my kids really like it and always say yes when I offer it at bedtime. I don’t notice any difference for their ease of getting to sleep when they use it vs when they don’t, but if it gives them some comfort and helps at all then I will happily use it.

***UPDATE*** Thanks to the company for contacting me and helping me to find a more suitable oil for our needs. Also after going a head and trying to use this oil my toddler finally lets me put it on him. I do not think it helps him sleep but he does like to hold the bottle and smell it so it calms him in that way. I dont like the smell and nither does hubby but we arent the ones wearing it.No one in the house can stand the smell. It is musty. It fades so fast, with in about 2-3 minutes you no longer smell anything. I am not sure how this is supposed to help with anything. I made sure my little guy was calm, he had a nice warm bath with this applied to the upper body and then washed and reapplied before bedtime. Of course the scent faded quickly and he got his "second wind" and was up another 3 hours!The package was well wrapped and the roller ball works well, almost too well as it comes out fast and runs. I guess this was wishful thinking/hoping that this would calm an energetic 2 yr old. Or make him sleep peacefully (he tosses all over when asleep ) .I rated 3 stars for ease of order/prime shipping and well packaged. Otherwise, I do not recommend and I am sorry I wasted $10 dollars on this. It will go in the garbage!!

This essential oil blend is one of my favorites. It has a pleasant, calming scent. The roller ball application is convenient. We use it at bedtime every night. Plant Therapy is one of the only EO brands I trust and I love that their kid safe oils are crafted with oils that are safe and appropriate and labeled accordingly.
