Excellent sound quality, cannot discern a loop within any of the sound sequences. Multiple sound options. I highly recommend for a baby or for relaxation!

Been using this for about 3 years now for my daughter to sleep with.The volume dial after about 6 months started to go out so everytime it gets moved it makes a terrible static noise. It got progressively worse and I no longer mess with it and instead just unplug it each time.

I have one in every bed room of the house and keep one in my suitcase for my nearly weekly trips. Lot of noise type options to suit anyone's needs. I love the battery option as well but only find this to work about 3 nights of full use. Wonderful option to have though when the power goes out and you want the baby to keep sleeping!My only complaint, which I've learned to overcome, is that 1-2 (of my 5) will stay silent or give a "crackling" sound when I turn it on... so I turn the dial back off or twist it back & forth and then it's back working as usual. I have not had it still not work at all after doing this so not a major interruption. That said, I'd still likely buy this again if ever needed.If you travel via airlines... you have a 60% they will see it in your bag and want to pull it aside to check it out. I would pull it out ahead of time to save the hassle.

Have had trouble with volume control since received. A lot of static if not turned on carefully.

I got mine august 2021 within few months volume button was sensitive. Now it won’t even turn on at all. No way something like that can break literally a year later.

Ok...after trying this out I can finally review it.Love it! I have a constant ringing in my ears. White noise drowns it out. I also have construction of a gas station behind my house. It's annoying to try and nap during the day. Also when summer comes...those Damn lawnmowers! Also...a husband who's deaf and doesn't wear his hearing aids so he has the tv volume up and on all freaking night! Now...it's all drowned out. I have the whale one in my toddler's room but the volume button is broken. And I didn't want to get the same brand because of the reviews on the volume button breaking. So on with the Amazon search. I decided to try this one based off of reviews. And price. Ok the colors are cool too.The sounds are what you would expect. The white noises are NOT. There are 4. I never knew there were others. White noise is higher pitched...reminds me of static snow on the old school tv's. Then there's pink noise. Pink noise? Yes. That one is slightly lower in pitch than white. Next....Grey...yeah grey. Ok...slightly lower than pink....then brown...not to be confused with the "brown note". Even deeper/ lower in pitch. I tried each one a different day and night. Based on my constant ringing and construction I prefer the grey and brown noises. There were no breaks in the loop that I could hear. The volume button is phenomenal. Very subtle changes can alter it. And it can get loud if you want. I have on low and it's perfect. I can still hear the baby monitor come on and hear the kids. It didn't block that necessary sound that I need to hear. Only the construction and the tv downstairs. I sleep better now. So much better. Oh and it's small. But not too small. Very good size. And the lavender color is pretty.

I purchased this to help with 24/7 tinnitus, as it interferes with my sleep. I have been using an mp3 player but the ENT and audiologist say I should not use earplugs, as that increases the sound of the tinnitus somehow. ( I confess I don't understand the neurologic manifestation of tinnitus, though I am an RN.) They recommended trying one of these machines and after listening to all the options on this one after it arrived, I think it will be helpful. The thunderstorms will not work as we have a terrier who barks during thunderstorms, but the rain and brook are pleasant, and I think the gray, brown, pink and white noise options will be the most helpful for me. I noted that some of the people who wrote reviews lamented that there was not a plug for headphones-mine does have a jack for headphones. If my hubby does not like the background noise, or if his snoring drowns out the white noise, I'll plug in-but it would be nice to not be attached to something with headphones or earplugs all night. This was reasonably priced and looks well made. I am sure I will benefit from it! I'll update my review after I have actually used it a few nights.Addendum-OK, I have used this a few nights and I do think it is helping me sleep better. The first night I had to turn it off because it has a green light which reflected brightly on the ceiling and so I kept looking at the reflection. My daughter had the bright idea to put a piece of black electric tape over the light, which works perfectly. I now have darkness again :) This was a good buy!

My husband has regrettably trained our boys to NEED to sleep with white noise in the background. Ugh. Why? I never did! Now, thanks to him, we have to bring one of these along on every trip we take bc they can't stand the quiet sounds of a natural cricket. Whatever.ANYWHOOOO....my older son, who is 9, has a different machine that just makes one white noise sound and that is what they are both used it. Then hubs went and bought this fancy one for HIMSELF with the multiple sounds on it, and so my younger 7 year old son just had to have one, too.Positive:--The sounds are really great! They really are authentic sounding. The thunder, rain, beach and rainforest sound the best and most authentic. The white noise, brown noise, etc... all sound exactly as you would expect. All sounds are very crisp and not rattling or tin sounding in any way.--It's small enough that you can carry it with you on a trip, like we do, as stated above.--Its got a nice little dial for volume control that any 3 year old can use.--You can also use batteries if you are traveling--It has a timer, but, like I said above, my hubs trained our kids to use it ALL NIGHT LONG (ugh) so mine don't use the timer.--Good priceNegative:--Can't think of one. Haven't experienced anything negative and my children haven't either. They adore this.

This has been a life saver in my home. i run a busy, noisy in home childcare center. When it arrived it looked just like the photo, It was easy to set up and use the first time and the sound quality was great. I love the different options for sound, brown noise was my favorite. I have 6 children at afternoon naptime and the sound was soothing and kept noises from waking anyone up. I have recommended this product to several new moms and would have purchased a second one however they were out of stock when i looked a while back.

yeah so after 2 weeks of purchasing this thing the volume is cutting out like crazy... waste of money. i have to return this asap
