This is a great little window garden set and would make an excellent gift! From past experience I know these seeds will grow great. I was a little worried that the soil pellets would be too small, but they're much bigger than the jiffy pellets you use to start seeds and should fill the biodegradable pots nicely. The only thing I worry about is the pots degrading too much to transfer into the ground later, but I'm not planning on transferring them anytime soon so it probably won't be a problem for me.Notably this box does fit perfectly in Urban Leaf's window shelf (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RZMR785) so that's where mine will be going!

All three have sprouted and appear to be thriving. I started the second week of January

So far this has been excellent. Would have loved a few more seeds, especially in strawberries. Growing great, strawberries are struggling, but rest has done very well. Very pleased with this product.

The wood box is really good looking! and i love the little wood stakes, where the type of herb appears to have been 'burned' on the label. Soil disks are of good size & the biodegradable square pots in which you grow, fit perfectly inside the box. All ships in the wood box w/ a nice uncoated PAPER printed wrap. VERY eco-friendly. looks awesome by my bottle garden. This product is well thought out & convenient. Perfect gift for gardener &/or chef! Love this

Nice looking. Soil cubes worked well. But, of the six kinds of seeds, only three sprouted. In keeping the soil moist for the seeds, the planter warped at the corners. Not as pretty anymore, but still useable.

I love everything about Urban Leaf. Got this beauty today just as my wine bottle garden was finishing it lifespan. Ready to plant this week. I'm relearning how to cook healthy and fresh herbs are like a million times more flavorful than the dried ones. To boot I have never been accused of having a green thumb but I am a success at growing herbs. They know what they want to be and I just watch it happen. Picture of my last garden attached.

I followed directions and kept in sun for several hours a day. After two weeks there’s been no growth. I moved soil and seeds are still just seeds. I would not recommend.

I came in a nicely presented gift package with all the items needed to create a little herb garden. Perfect for my wife's desire to grow her own herbs.

This was a very expensive piece of garbage.Problem 1: Advertised as containing strawberries, chilies and tomatoes. It didn’t contain strawberry seeds- they sent eggplant seeds instead. (Yuck)Problem 2: this kit included 4 tomato seeds, 3 eggplant seeds, and 3 chilli seeds. Only 3 tomatoes, 3 eggplants, and 1 chilli sprouted. Again- for $39.99 I’d like more than a total of 10 seeds. I know not every seed will be viable, but given they only give 10 seeds, that’s a 30% failure rate.Problem 3: There is zero drainage. Water soaks through and ruins the appearance of the planter box PLUS the box and the little sticks with the plant names on them got moldy after a week.My honest opinion is that this kit is an absolute waste of money. I wish I could return it. My advice is buy a bunch of seeds and little containers at the dollar store for a quarter of the price instead of buying this.

The media could not be loaded. Package came neatly packed , instructions were clear and my plants are starting to grow.
