My House of Memories: An Autobiography

Bought for my fathers birthday. He is not much of a reader but thought he might be interested in this as Merle has had an interesting lifestyle and my father likes country music.He said once he started reading he couldn't put it down. Now I have a loan of it to read!

I know it was written in the late 90s when things were "acceptable" to say, im a big fan but this book really put me off Haggard. Things were said that didn't need to be said. The book itself was easy to read, big print, lots of stories. Lots of spelling and grammar mistakes though. Wouldn't recommend, especially if you're a fan.

anybody who loves merle haggard , will love this book, honest, forthright, and true, haggard tells his story both good times and bad with a refreshing honesty .
