Never lose a drop!
I love these lids. I have bought several for our Nalgene water bottles. They are very sturdy and do not leak when tightened properly. I really like the little cap holder feature, so the cap isn't smacking you in the face while you drink!! I highly recommend these.

Great product, lid fits multiple large mouth water bottles
This is the second Humangear cap I've bought. I like these lids much better than the ones that came with the bottles originally. They are easy to use and clean. They fit multiple bottles, so I don't have to worry if I lose a lid. I have only used them on cool/cold drinks.

Almost 5
So first issue is I couldnt get an answer on if it is BPS free. They just responding saying it is BPA free. Second and of less importance it doesn't appear to be all black which is the one i chose. Its more black lis l, gray body.

Works well
Bought this for a little versatility on my wide mouth Nalgene bottles. Has been working great on all my bottles; no leaking and easy on off.

Must have
Fits a Nalgene wide mouth bottle nicely, the small cap hook is a nice touch, when you drink the cap is not flopping around hitting your face. Good materials used, seems solids and that'll last a long time. Definitely recommend.

Cap Cap solution with Hydro Flask
I LOVE my CapCap. So much so, that I have been using them for the better part of 2-3 years. I recently bought a Hydro Flask and was disappointed to find none of my 5 CapCaps at home fit without leaking. All had a slight leak when drinking. I have successfully used it on 3 different nalgene bottles, which I rotated regularly for my daily drinking needs. I also used it on a Guyot stainless steel bottle, whose narrow bottom fits most drink holders, without any problems whatsoever, which also figured into the bottle rotation, all using an insulated sleeve to try to keep the drink cold & keep condensation to a minimum. The Hydro Flask made using the insulated sleeve a moot point, such that I am considering giving away by nalgene bottles, now that I seem to have found a solution.Regarding the Hydro Flask bottle (32oz), I am happy to report one of two possible solutions to the leaking issue:1) A fellow reviewer recommended these silicon cooking bands (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0041HTBQ2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00), which do work, but tend to slip out on occasion, when refilling with ice or rinsing it out. Comparing the lids of the Guyot and Hydro Flask bottles which both seem to have a silicon ring inside, the CapCap has much less internal clearance and also happens to be slightly angled towards the center, such that the cooking bands initially slide off and need to be A) stretched before placing in the groove under the CapCap - just a couple of quick tugs should do, and B) checked during use to make sure they haven't slipped out partially into the bottle (easily noted as a slight leak with usually result), or C) occasionally swapped out. I have been using the more brightly colored ones on a couple of different CapCaps and they seem to be staying in place the longer they are used.2) This option seems to work with any CapCap or even the Camelbak Chute Water Bottle lid and doesn't need to be used with any other bands. You just roll this above the JugLug or just above the lip of the Hydro Flask where it sits between the bottom of the CapCap and the Hydro Flask lip. Be warned, there may be a slight dripping when you remove the CapCap to reload ice, etc. If used with option 1 above, no issues whatsoever: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMYTD2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00See the first pic to see both in action. The 2nd pic shows option 1 sitting in the groove under the CapCap.3) The JugLug also helps and seems to stay on the Hydro Flask but doesn't completely stop the leak as I was initially hoping, but it is a nice adjunct to the CapCap or Camelbak Chute cap.BONUS: Kudos to Humangear for sending me replacements for my older straps which have split down the middle lengthwise, as well as replacement CapCaps for a pair that started peeling after a significant amount of use/abuse (see pic 3), one of which I threw away. I actually started using paracord to keep the lid on and ended up using that strap on my Camelbak Chute lid. They even included an additional GoTubb for my troubles. Thanks, Humangear!!!

Best Nalgene bottle lid for active drinkers
Best lid for a nalgene bottle. Forget the spray-me-not this is the best for those active nalgene drinkers. No more stupid piece to pop into the bottle and then fish out. Works so well an untrained toddler was able to drink from it.

Capcap 2.0
Brilliant addition to my Nalgene wide mouth bottles. Means I can drink from them without drenching myself in water with every mouthful!I had the 1.0 version and the 2.0 has made improvement I didnโt even know I needed. The strap is tougher (1.0 strap split after a year or so) and the addition of the cap holder is a nice touch. Also the mouth hole is some how smoother and feels nice (sounds weird but true none the less)If your looking at this item, buy one you wonโt regret it

Great cap for the widemouth Nalgene
The standard 1liter (32 oz) widemouth Nalgene bottle has a cap that shouldn't be produced. It's ok for carrying water and only for that. Try to drink from it on the trail and the big chance is you'll spill the water around. You can replace the original Nalgene cap with their multi drink cap or OTF cap if you happen to have one extra lying around. I don't. So this cap is the only thing you really need for the bottle to make it great. The plastic of the small cap is nice in touch, very nice when in contact with the mouth. I really recommend this cap, especially at the sub-10 bucks price.
