Finally! A stand that works!
Over the past couple of years I've bought at least a dozen tablet stands, searching for one that actually worked. I've finally found it. Let's review the characteristics that make this a great tablet stand.Large base: I need a base that's big enough that the stand won't tip over if it's on an uneven or not perfectly level surface -- such as a bed or a couch.Heavy base: I need a base that's heavy enough that moving the tablet around, or inadvertently knocking against it, won't tip it over.Range of heights: Sometimes I need the bottom edge to touch the table-top, sometimes times I need it raised high (for example when watching a video, or when several people need to see the screen), and sometimes I need it in between (for example when playing a game that requires a lot of tapping and sliding).Stable height: Once I set it to the height I want, I need it to stay there -- without sagging over time.Centered center-of-gravity: At all heights and angles, I need the center-of-gravity of the tablet roughly centered over the base, so that it doesn't tip over in any direction.Stable position: Once I have the tablet at the height and angle I want it, I need it to stay in position as I interact with the tablet, and not twist or sag or change its tilt.Grippy, non-scratch bottom: I need it to gently grip whatever surface I put it on so that it doesn't slide around. I need it to not scratch sensitive surfaces.Feet that won't fall off: Some stands have small rubber bumpers. Often these fall off. This stand has a sheet of felt-like material covering the whole bottom of the base.Low vibration: As I interact with the tablet -- tapping, & sliding, & pinching -- I need the tablet to stay stable, and not to vibrate after each touch. Preferably, I'd like it to be rock solid (this stand nearly is).Power cord slot: When the tablet is vertical, I need to be able to connect a power cord to it through a slot or hole in the tray in which the bottom of the tablet sits. This stand has a hole that is big enough for a USB or lightning connector, but not for the wide, 30-pin connectors on my oldest iPads.A deep support tray: My oldest iPad is in a leather case, so the tray that cups it and holds it up has to be deep enough to support the thickness of the iPad and two thicknesses of leather. Also, portable flat-panel displays are usually thicker than most tablets. Also, I have some Android tablets in rugged cases. The support tray on this stand it deep enough. This tablet stand meets all the above needs -- and is the only one I've found that does. The only (very minor) annoyance is that the joints are so stiff that I often have to remove the table and rotate the joints into position directly with my hands. But then again, once in position they stay where I put them! So, long story short, I finally have found a tablet stand that meets all my needs, and does what I need in all the various ways I will use it. I'm so happy with this discovery that I've bought three!

Ignore reviews saying it stopped holding
I'm surprised they were able to write the reviews given the fact they clearly can't read. This stand has a little cap on the side of every joint. Pop that little cap off with your fingernail and you'll reveal an allen screw. Under the base of the stand is an allen wrench. You can loosen or tighten each joint as much as you need.Yeah I'm sure after months of moving it around, the screw gets loose and it won't hold. So you pop that cap off that side of that joint and tighten the screw up to the level of resistance you want. Good as new. This is in the product description. I hope this helps someone make a good choice. This product really is super solid and nice.

NICE DESIGN AND WORKMANSHIP
FLIMSY CHEAP PLASTIC PHONE AND IPAD HOLDER. IT WON'T HOLD A PHONE WITH A PROTECTIVE CASE NOR AN IPAD WITH A MAGIC KEYPAD. THE PLASTIC CLAMP IS TOO NARROW. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE IPHONE CASE AND MAGIC KEYPAD TO MAKE IT WORK. OTHERWISE WITHOUT THE CLAMP IT IS 5 STAR.

great stand for tablets
this is a great stand and value. i was looking for a versatile stand that would be able to hold my google pixel slate 11.5" . its a sturdy design and build. The customer support is great and quick. at first i had an issue with the hinges not being tight enough to support the tablet customer service responded quickly letting me know an allen wrench is included in the packing and is located under the base of the stand in the foam protection area. this stand was redesigned so the screw holes are not visible. there are covers that can be removed to access them. This stand is exactly what i needed and i'm very happy with both the stand and the customer service from the seller/company. worth the purchase.

Worked with my 15" Mobile Monitor but . . .
. . . I had to pop off the joint side covers and tighten the screws. Otherwise it would not hold position due to the weight of the flat panel. Works perfectly as a fourth monitor for my desk top.

Just what I needed!
I was looking for a stand to permanently hold a portable computer monitor (about the size of a tablet or so) since I don't have the room for a full-sized second monitor on my desk. I wanted it to sit under my main monitor so the height was a big concern and how much the stand would lift up the portable monitor. What I love about this stand is that it has 2 joints on the arm. You don't really think about that when you are buying them. But it gives the stand a ton of flexibility on how high you want it to be and what angle you want it at. The joints are also super tight and sturdy feeling. You really have to put a little muscle into adjusting it. I like that because it feels extremely stable and it never feels like it is going to drop the monitor, which is reasonably heavy. This is a great phone/tablet/portable monitor stand and I would recommend it to anyone!

Not bad at all.
I bought two tablet stands to compare. This one (Yoobao) and the OMOTON. For my needs I want a stand I can easily carry with me to school. I personally think the yoobao is great for its sturdiness and range of height and angles. The OMOTON is limited to a certain height but still gives you a range in angles and it is definitely sturdy. The Yoobao is definitely heavier in comparison to the OMOTON and the OMOTON is more compact than the Yoobao. The only thing that wasn’t great about the Yoobao is that the stand doesn’t hold my iPad with a case too well. The OMOTON was better at holding my iPad with a case on. If I was planning to use it more at home then I’d definitely go for the Yoobao. The OMOTON is best for travel so I kept the OMOTON for that reason.

Started off great then disappointing
When delivered it sat a little wonky, perhaps damaged in transit as box was slightly damaged. Appeared really sturdy and worked great for around two weeks then at the same time two of the hinged joint loosened and could no longer support ipad. Reluctantly returning today

Sturdy, strong, premium. Worth the premium cost.
Ive been using this to hold an external display and I couldnt be happier.Nice and stiff, the hinges are absolutely fine holding the weight of a tablet or monitor and need a lot of give to adjust/move. Every bit of it is made of metal, built very well and sturdy while also feeling really premium, I think this will last a very long time and while a little bit pricey I think you get what you pay for, especially if you want something to last a long time.If I had to find a complaint, it would be nice if the logo was a bit more discrete or hidden underneathe. It takes a lot away from the clean and aesthetic build quality.
