Darware Blank Wood Plaques (2-Pack, Whitewashed), White Wooden Signs for DIY Crafts 12x12 Inch

From the moment you open the package you can see all the possibilities for these boards. Wood is very expensive these days. I needed some boards to display some of my colors to test them. Usually I would just go to the hardware store and get a board but they were about $14 each and canvas boards are even more expensive. Finding these was a real bargain and they are light with a small border on the back so you can hang them up as you evaluate the contrast or fabric choices. Great buy!

I was expecting to maybe have to spray on a better finish, but when they came, they are warped and cracking at the seams. I'll have to do a ton of restoration work on these, which defeats the purpose of buying pre-made pieces.UPDATE: The vendor responded and sent me replacement pieces directly from their stock. Apparently pieces sent from the warehouses are the ones that suffer cracks and warping. Good value for the money in the end. Just be prepared to ask for replacements if your originals are messed up.

Out of the 2 sets I bought , 1 has very bad warping other one has large deep crack / groove in it , only 2 are Ok / acceptable - might send them all back or keep 1 set not sure but has delayed my project . In addition , it’s not a flat piece , it’s a very thin with border wood around it

I have ordered six of these boards total because they're inexpensive and great for crafts the only thing is every single one I have begins to crack after about 2 days after receiving them.

Wood isn’t good and came all kinds of warped

These are great lighter weight plaques for painting or attaching things to. I would not recommend drilling holes as the wood will splinter, however it's perfect for crafting with a great antiqued white painted finish.

I bought this for a Cricut project. I should have checked both pieces before using it. One of them was warped, making it pretty useless.For the price, it's not terrible. And with time constraints for me it was one of my only available choices. It is VERY light cheap wood. Hence the price. I also believe the cut plays a part in the price as each one had a knot on the face. You can also feel the whitewash.In a pinch, it can be okay. Just check each one first to see if they're warped or not.

I was expecting them to be in one piece. Very disappointed.
