Blade is sharp, and handle good and heavy. A quality Fillet Knife for sure!
This is a serious Fillet Knife! Wearing the appropriate cut resistant fillet glove should not be over looked.Definitely not a Rapala knife you buy at the walmart. When you have to fillet 30 or more fish in one sitting...this is a good blade for that. I have used it already, and if you cut yourself you may not know...it very sharp, so take care and wear a fillet glove for sure. Very Satisfied!

Laser or knife? Wow!
I bought this knife to compliment my new pellet grill. Seemed lots of recipes needed trimming or deboning, so I started looking around for just such a tool! Wow! This knife is super sharp and perfect for trimming fat or deboning any type of critter before slapping its carcass on the grill to smoke before chewing on it! Dont hesitate another second! Buy this metal version of a light saber now!

Very heavy
Using this knife for trimming brisket in a restaurant. The blade and handle are beautiful but the knife is way too heavy and not well balanced. I'm sure I'll get used to it but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Overall it performs well but for more detailed trimming work I would get either the 5 in. filet, or the 4 in. paring knife next time.
