Malibu C: Soothing and Relieving Scalp Wellness Shampoo, 9 oz

I’ve used quite a few scalp shampoos over the years. Aveda had one that was my favorite but sadly they discontinued it. So I did some research and decided to give this a try. I like it! After the first use my scalp was no longer itchy. And unlike a lot of scalp shampoos this doesn’t leave my hair super dry or stripped. It’s sulfate free so it’s safe for color treated hair! It’s minty which is a plus in my book! It’s hard to find a color safe scalp shampoo that actually works but this one does! I definitely recommend it!

A good clarifying shampoo with nice mint smell. The conditioner is good too.

I purchased this shampoo because the explanation stated it moisturized your scalp. It didn’t, unfortunately. However, my very fine straight, color-treated hair is now plump & voluminous. I flat ironed it & the volume is still there - it looks great. So if you have fine hair, try this shampoo. I’ll continue to use it to see if it moisturizes my scalp & write a follow up review.

I just wrote this review for the accompanying conditioner:I ordered the shampoo and conditioner, which I’ve used before and love. First time I’ve ordered the products from Amazon, and the packing was terrible. The shampoo bottle was encased in plastic, but the conditioner bottle wasn’t — the cap was loose and some of the conditioner had leaked out. The reviews contain other complaints about loose caps and leakage, but nothing has been done to fix the problem. I’m paying for 9 fl oz, and I would like to receive 9 fl oz.So — great product, and even better when the cap isn’t loose and there’s no leakage.

I use it when my scalp is acting up and it helps calm it down! Just make sure you leave it on for at least 5 minutes before rinsing it off.
