Works as advertised, so far so good
My original charger cord started splitting right where it attached to the brick. After a few more days of taking it back and forth to work, the wires were exposed. Then they started fraying. I had to tape the cord to hold it in the one place it would still charge, and I had to leave it at work. Finally, I sucked it up and ordered a new cord, just in time before the old one failed. Because I was so mad at the obvious flaw in the cord design, and not wanting to spend another $90 for a replacement, I started researching cord protection options.I decided on this because (1) it seemed much more sturdy than the little plastic pieces that just clip onto the cord, and (2) it was cute and would match my case. After 3 months, there are no problems with the cord, but the last one made it for several years, so I guess only time will tell. This product works by keeping the cord from bending too far in any direction near the brick. You have to pull the "wings" up before attaching. I haven't tried to take it off, but I don't think that would be easy.I get lots of comments and compliments on the protector, and I have recommended all my Mac friends get one before they have issues with their cord as well. There is only one discernible issue I have seen so far: it is hard to keep the cord secure in transit. You can wrap the cord around the T part (as shown in the advertised photo), but because of the thickness of the T, it is difficult to use the cable's attached clip think to keep the cord from unravelling. Slightly annoying for travel purposes, but not as annoying as a frayed cord. Although it is annoying that I have to purchase an additional item to correct such an obvious flaw on Apple's part.

Good concept @ 1/4 the price of the charger. A bit steep.
I like the concept. However, considering the charger is only $79 @ apple store, this add-on is 25% of the price of the charger. One more thing, once you install it, it's close to impossible to remove it without breaking it.

Good design and good fit
It does what it says but seems slightly overpriced for a two-sided piece of plastic. Good design and good fit. I expect it will save me from having to buy a replacement charger for my Macbook, so that's a good thing.

Great product and I'm glad it's at an affordable price
Durable, attractive, and well made. Adds a small amount of bulk but nothing obtrusive. Great product and I'm glad it's at an affordable price.

Keeps cord organized and adds a little color!
Great fun accessory for my MacBook Air charger! Gives it a little fun personality and keeps my charger from getting confused with others. Make sure you double check the size of your charger before ordering to make sure you get the right size (I learned there are multiple sizes).

Works great, been using them for several years and I recommend them highly.
Over the years I have gone through around 5 chargers (1 each year), due to a frayed cable where the thin cable meets the charger. I had even gotten to the point where I would fold the cable in special way trying to prevent it from bending and wearing out. No luck, still happened and I still had to buy a new charger.I got my juiceboxx originally by funding their kick starter campaign. Great purchase, since then I've never had a frayed cable again. Did exactly what it advertises and does it well. Since then I got a new macbook and put a new juiceboxx on that charger too. Never have to worry about my charging cable suddenly not working when I have a big paper to write (yes that happened)! My advice is get it!On a side note someone complained about the cost being high, yes it's a little high at $20, but if you have to replace the whole charger then it'll cost around $80 instead of $20, and in my experience if you use you're laptop every day in different locations the charging cable will evenly wear out and you will have to buy a new one! Just saying....
