Does not fit large calves
First things first: I have 18" calves. These technically fit, but are very stretched out and tight on my legs. They are uncomfortable to wear and the message is distorted quite a bit. I attached a photo wearing one sock and a tape measure on my other leg to illustrate. They also don't come close to my knee, though it's hard to say whether that's a material length issue or whether the height is compromised by having to stretch around my calves.I wear size 13/14 shoes, and the foot area was adequate for my feet. That is, my feet weren't cramped or tight in the sock. The socks themselves are lightweight. They feel smooth. The text is thicker and noticeably less elastic than the rest of the sock. If these had been screen printed instead of stitched, they would've worked, I think. I liked the light cushion on the sock, but didn't wear them for more than a few minutes before deciding to return. My quest for large beer-themed socks continues.

Definitely don't buy if your calves are more than 12 inches wide.
I have 14 - 14.5 inch calves and my feet are around 10 inches. The socks were pretty tight around the calves, but my feet fit in them fine.Despite them being "One Size", the inside band of the socks has the letter "L." The stitching of the feet design could be placed a bit further down so the blank space would be smaller, but if you're only going to be wearing them with shoes then it's probably not that big of an issue. The Amazon listing says the socks are made of 80% Acrylic, 15% Nylon, and 5% Spandex; but the packaging they came in says 75% Cotton, 22% Polyester, and 3% Spandex.

Halloween Socks
Bought these for a Halloween 5K I was doing. Like others mentioned, the leg part of the socks were super tight. I have about 15" calves. It was tight but manageable for me. I'd say it'd work better with those with maybe like 12" or lower calves. Unlike others, the socks did come to just under my knee, but I do have kind of short legs (I wear a 'regular' in jeans). I wouldn't recommend to someone with long legs. I definitely don't recommend for working out, as the sides of my knees were sore after the 5K because the socks were so tight. I'm disappointed because the design and color were cute. Undecided on whether I should give these to one of my nieces who have a slender build. I have a Thanksgiving 5K as well, but I'll be choosing a different product for that one.

Eh.
The design and concept is a great idea (especially for Halloween) but buyer beware, these socks run SMALL. I purchased these in a Large for my son's Halloween costume (mind you, he is 13 and usually between a M-L in size) and when he put these on, the design on them was stretched since they come so small. They also do not go as high as pictured. They more fit like mid-calf and not knee high. Knowing that I would have purchased a bigger size and not have been expecting knee high socks. Product is Good not Great.

Just received my two pairs that I ordered for the "Run for Beer" socks. I thought they were knee high but they definitely are not. They are more mid-calf. They are also very small with little stretch. They're okay for what I wanted them for but I will not purchase these socks again.

Fun and perfect for ocktoberfest! If large calf’s- beware of tightness.
I’m so excited to wear these for Ocktoberfest!!! They are comfy and the colors are vibrant. Good material too.Only downside is they are not as stretchy at the top that goes around the calf, there is one tight ring of fabric (maybe so they don’t fall down when running?) If I had bigger calf’s they would probably be too tight and cut off circulation. Hopefully they stretch out.Pics of height of sock is measurable to my height of 5’11 (I’ve got longer legs than normal)

I read the reviews but wanted to try them for myself. They really are very small and I'd say that unless you have toothpicks for calves, they're not going to fit. There's not a lot of stretch to them and if they're stretched too much, you can't make out what they say or what they're supposed to be so it ruins the whole idea. I had to return them, they definitely need some tweeking!

small around calves
I bought them to go with my skeleton Halloween costume b/c I knew I wouldn't be wearing shoes at the party (since it snowed!). They were ok... If you have large calves, like I do, I couldn't wear them all the way up so I scrunched them around my ankles. To wear for one night, that wasn't a big deal for me.
