Amazing cream from a great brand
Lightweight, does not leave my skin feeling greasy. I use it in combination with the Vitamin C serum and I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin. It looks brighter and more plump. Will definitely be buying again.

Smells awful and increases sun sensitivity
Hate it! Smells awful like dirt. Didn't like the fact that due to the ingredients it is recommended to wear sunscreen as thus product can cause sun sensitivity! Used it once and I'm returning it. Only bright spot in all of this is Amazons amazing return policy. I will say that though this particular product sucks I do love the Jules and Verne Vitamin C serum and the Cucumber Eye cream. Those two are awesome so I was very disappointed in this facial cream :(

Not for my sensitive skin.
Started to do aromatherapy mid April. Took two courses from a reputable aromatherapy school. One of them being a Butters & Balms course. Have started to make a lot of my own skin care products. I have sensitive, allergic, reactive, rosacea skin. My skin prefers products made with natural ingredients. I've been using carrier oils to provide moisture for a long time. When I got into aromatherapy, I started to make my own facial serums. The ingredients for the Smoothing Treatment Cream from Jules and Ester are many and looked great. Unfortunately, I missed the MSM. My skin doesn't like it, so I shouldn't have ordered this product, despite getting it at a discount for an honest review. The product directions suggest using the Smoothing Cream twice a day unless you have sensitive skin, then it directs you to use once a day. If you have sensitive skin, even if it's not as bad as mine, I don't think this is a product for you.When trying a new products on my face, I'm always careful. I test a spot near the side of my face that can be covered by my hair. My skin immediately reacted to the Smoothing Treatment Cream with a red rash and about a minute later, some burning. I immediately rinsed it off with water and applied my "go to" product for calming my skin--tamanu oil. Now, it's about 15 minutes later, the burn and the rash are gone.I received this product at a discount for an honest review.
