French Rolling Pin

I purchased this because I thought it would be easier on the hands than a traditional rolling pin with small handles. It is. I wasn't sure how it would work or if I would like it. I also worried that the low price maybe meant it wasn't good somehow.I used it to roll out three pizzas the other day and it worked perfectly. It did not stick to the dough at all, and it also worked better than my old traditional rolling pin that hand handles. I think part of the reason is that when you are rolling using your whole hand, you are naturall pressing down on the rolling pin, whereas with a traditional rolling pin, the position and the pressure you exert is unnatural and possibly somewhat mute. In any case, this rolling pin worked great an as very easy to use and get used to using.It was also super easy to clean. The directions said not to wash it with soap, which I wasn't sure I liked, but I rinsed it well and dried it, and it's been great.

This is very affordable and good quality for the price. It is sturdy and smooth. Appearance is nice and not too heavy. It is easy to roll with.

Does what a rolling pin does. I love the fell in my hands.

I needed a 'not so expensive' rolling pin to make some gingerbread cookies I had promised to my 5-year old son. I was surprised with the quality and ease of use. The surface is very smooth making the rolling process of the dough a breeze. I am very happy with the purchase and strongly recommend this product to occasional bakers like I am!

Thisnthing is HUGE.... trying to find a place to store it is crazy lol...

I hate to bake and was using an old school worn out rolling pin that my wife bought twenty years ago at a yard sale to roll out my pizza dough. Decided I needed a new rolling pin and that I wanted one without the small worthless handles. The handles don't work for me and just adds worthless bulk to the rolling pin and no added rolling surface. This rolling pin was a pleasure to use compared the old school type of rolling pin. Nice smooth surface / finish and the perfect length for my pizza dough. I may even try baking some biscuits just to play with a proper rolling pin.

I have a collection of rolling pins from all over the world and this was a nice addition to it.

I have only used the pin once so far, but it is incredible! The quality is impeccable. The design is really intuitive and allows a wonderful flow while rolling dough. You just seem to have a better “feel” and have perfect control than typical pins.
