For face masks
This material is being used to make face masks. It is a great to use in between the outer and inner layers of cloth that make up my face masks. I actually make a pocket on the inside of my masks that the polypropylene can be inserted. That way, before I wash my mask, I can take the old polypropylene out and put in a fresh one. This will also work great if you already have a face mask with a filter pocket...say for a PM 2.5 filter. You can add the polypropylene right along with the PM 2.5 for extra protection. It is a good quality, soft and easy to work with. As well, you get plenty of material with this order to last quite a while.

Great filter for Masks
Works well for masks. Will melt if you iron fabric with filter in it.

Mask filters
I bought this material to use as a filtering middle layer in face masks. It is soft and flexible, fray resistant, breathable, and easy to sew. I use it in all of my masks. The reason I give only 4 stars is that the material cannot withstand the cotton temperature setting, so I have to use press at the low heat setting for longer periods of time. I also place a layer of cloth over it when pressing. I recommend washing masks made with this filter in cool to warm water and air drying them.Other filter materials I have tried completely melted and stuck to my iron when I tried to iron them. I have not had that happen with this material.

Consistent quality
I’ve been using this material to cut mask filters on my Cricut machine and it works well for that. The quality and quantity has been consistent, as I’ve ordered it 4 times now. Hopefully we won’t need them for much longer (waiting for our turn to get vaccinated) but while we still do I’ll continue to order this material.

Light weight and stable.
The fabric seems very stable thru washing and drying. I think it is a great inside liner for all of my masks but I need to experiment further.

Perfect face mask liner material
This is the recommended material for lining face masks, because of its electrostatic charge. I have just cut out rectangles that I can fold into a double thickness and insert into the pockets of my masks. For masks with no pocket, I just put this material on the inside, against my nose. It is easy to breathe through and washes without fraying.

Quick delivery product was exactly as described hold up well washed in machine.
Exactly as pictured, works great for masks made 22 small and 12 large sized mask filter layers with one sheet. Easy to breath through masks made with 2 layers of cotton and one layer of filter material harder with 2 layers of filter material. Would not reccomend 2 layers for masks for young children. Quick delivery product was exactly as described hold up well washed in machine and hung to dry, gives masks nice structure as well.

Great for a third layer in a mask to help prevent the spread of viruses
I bought this after doing alot of research online over several months on making your own masks. This is very easy to breathe thru and works great as a third layer, to be inserted into a pocket inside a mask. The only drawback is that you absolutely can NOT iron this stuff. It just melts away. So this is why I use it as a removable layer in a pocket in a mask, in case I want to iron mine after washing it. It is washable, so if you take this out of the pocket, wash it along with the mask in hot soapy water, rinse, iron or dry the mask, then put this back into the filter pocket, you're good. I suspect the price on this has gone up since it being recommended as a third layer in masks, but still, not bad for the price since you can reuse it and there is enough fabric in one order for over 40 filters. Just cut it to fit your mask pocket.

Great for masks
Bought this to add a three ply to my face masks for protection through Covid 19. Works great, lightweight and easy to sew with. No odor or difficulty breathing through the material. Glad I purchased it.
