*unlike others have statee, I was NOT offered a free bottle for this 5 star review* I honestly wish I had taken before photos! I have type 2b/2c swavy/curly hair, after using the curly girl method for 1 month and seeing INCREDIBLE results, I made the bad decision to bleach my own hair - with intent to dye it a deep navy blue. Well, my hair only lifted to an orange color, and subsequently turned into straw. My beautiful soft swavy curls and coils turned rough, stringy and straight. I tried every deep conditioning treatment/hot oil/hair mask under the sun and nothing seemed to help hydrate or improve the look of my hair.Fast forward to now. I have used this product twice this week and my curls are coming back, honey! Yes, it contains a silicone called "cyclomethicone." This would be considered to many curlies as a "good" silicone because it evaporates from the hair, and if it really worries you it can easily be washed out with a low poo, as it is semi water soluble. I haven't had an issue with it so far.I leave this on for 15-20 minutes in the shower after co-wash (As I Am Coconut). It provides great slip for detangling. I still find that I still need to condition after rinsing, but again, my hair is EXTREMELY damaged so it likely needs more moisture than most. I guess I'm trying to say that this doesn't really function as a deep conditioner for me. I follow up with 15 mins of Sally Beauty's "Generic Value Products - Conditioning Balm" (my holy grail conditioner) and holy moly the softness is incredible!When I get out of the shower, after my hair dries is when I really see the difference. My hair is starting to clump a little better, especially after a quick unicorn trim (I do a triple unicorn, for more layers)I still have a long way to go, but I do plan on using this on every single wash day. I didn't have high hopes after reading that the seller was giving a free bottle in exchange for a 5 star review, but it exceeded my expectations and then some. My hair is thick and just below my shoulders, and the bottle is still 3/4 full. 10/10 would reccomend.

I purchased this product because I was getting so much gray hair and the gray hair was very coarse so my hair was no longer soft andshiny. So I purchased this and used it , I wore it overnight and it immediately, the next day when I washed my hair, made it soft and shiny so I use it each time I do my hair, which is about two times a week, I have purchased this product five times because it is that good. I am getting one free bottle for my review. However, I am doing the review because it really does give nice shiny soft hair. I would not give a review for something that doesn’t even work. It’s a small bottle, but it does go quite a ways and you could get away with doing it once a week. I have done that several times and the results are still nice for the next shampoo after that.

Photo on left was taken the day after a bleaching session and the photo on the right was taken a day after toning and using this product. It may not look that different but trust me, my hair feels so much better and manageable!My hair is always in dire need of repair because I always bleach/tone it and basically never leave it alone. After my most recent hair session, I realized that all my oils, serums, and masks were just not going to cut it this time. My hair needed something extra, like a keratin/protein treatment.My hair took forever to dry because some of the ends were gummy and brittle even after applying all my usual oils and serums. So I was going to bite the bullet and purchase some olaplex treatments, when I came across this product. The reviews seemed promising stating that it's comparable, if not better... so I decided to try it out. Although I'm a little disappointed at how small the bottle is, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works! I used as directed: Apply on damp hair, comb through, leave in for 15 minutes, rinse, shampoo and condition.I ran my hair through water, towel dried, and split my hair down the middle into two sides (left & right). I squeezed a quarter size amount into my hands and applied onto one side, very carefully combing through with my fingers, and then repeated on the other side. I clipped up my hair and waited 30 minutes before rinsing, then shampoo and conditioned. I still applied my usual serums for extra moisture/treatment. My hair dried so much faster and my ends didn't feel like a broomstick like it did the previously. Three days later, I used this product again repeating the same exact process. And the results were even better! My hair dried at a normal rate, and the main difference was how my hair felt after it was completely dry... it actually felt SOFT to the touch! I'm so impressed and can't wait to use it again. This truly improved the condition of my hair.

Very impressed with this product. It totally revived my curls from the inside out (no - this is not just a glorified hair conditioner. I've use all types of hair treatments and masks. All the reviews saying so are just Olaplex representatives trying to sell you on their products - it's a billion dollar industry!). Try this product before or after hair color treatment! Love it! (4 star review because I have yet to use it on post-bleach treatment). Tbc..
