Really good product. Had for a while before started using, followed the instructions from a previous reviewer on washing and seasoning the skillet (as I lost my instructions). It cooks meat really thoroughly and nicely with the stripes. It is heavy and all the pan gets hot including the handle as it is one piece of cast iron. I have silicone handle covers which takes care of that. As mentioned it is heavy therefore I am extra careful when moving the pan when it contains hot oil etc. That said I am really happy with my purchase.

this is just about the exact one I was trying to replace.mine was lost in a move.i think it is a durable and is about perfect for broiling.it is the style of broil pan like,it is easy to clean Even more so when you put a shallow amont of water in the bottom!my original had more space between the bottom and the rack,which I liked best, I would,t use it for baking,etc. because I don't think it would be good to cut in like you might with cake's or browniles.just what I wanted!

This cast iron pan is big! The first thing i noticed is that it is light weight for a cast iron pan. So it's not heavy for a traditional pan. The bottom of the pan has ridges that are slightly raised to help drain the oils but low enough to still cook in them

Good but no holder at the bottom..Plate moves around
