I bought this because I had bought a new skillet with a nonstick surface that I wanted to make sure stayed nonstick.Overall, I have been pretty pleased. The only issue I have had is that sometimes it has problems getting under what I need it to get under. I don't know if it is something I am doing wrong, or if there isn't a thin enough part at the wedge to help it get where it needs to be. For example, I was making pancakes with it this weekend, and I went to turn one of the pancakes. Instead of sliding under the pancake, the spatula instead pushed the pancake clear off the skillet onto my counter. It is also a bit more flexible than I would have liked, and this may play a part in it not being as good a lever I wanted it to be.

How this got any good reviews is a mystery. First, it's not long as the description indicates. Second, there isn't a sufficient angle from the handle to the blade, and because it's made of slippery silicone everything slides right off before you can flip it.You can't flip food with it. Worthless as a spatula.I may be able to stir paint with it though.I gave a single star because it's well made, otherwise it'd be a big fat 0.

Lightweight and ok, with one major flaw--the leading edge is way too thick, so it doesn't easily slide under food, but rather pushes it around.

You get what you pay for ! This is an excellent kitchen tool. Nought 1 to try it out , so impressed , planning on buying 2 more.
