Zen Brooms - Soft Indoor Broom w/Large 16'' Head & Light/Flexible Asian Tiger Grass Bristles 40'' Overall Length

Been looking for this broom for a long time! In almost every house in Hawaii, you see this funny looking broom. It is what they call a Filipino broom and is easily found in stores. I've thought of bringing one back with me but couldn't get it to fit in my suitcase. Then I thought of looking for it on amazing and voila! I use this broom in my kitchen to sweep up all of the stuff that falls daily from preparing and cooking food. It is more effective than a regular broom and the vacuum cleaner. It gets in the corners and the edges and pulls out all of the tiny little bits of stuff. However, there is a way to care for this broom for best long-term results.1) Take the broom out of the package outside and shake it out well to dislodge all of the little fibers.2) Use the eye to hang the broom. If you let it stand, the fibers will bend and you'll end up with a broom that still works, but has a part down the middle.3) Once every few months or so, take it outside and shake it out.Pros:-the most effective broom to use on hard surfaces like tile or wood-sweeps very efficiently in the corners and edges-inexpensive-very cool lookingCons:-if you don't shake it out outdoors when you first get it, you'll have a dust cloud in your house-if you let it stand, it will get smushed

Actually a 0 DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Besides the cancerous chemicals in it that I did not see until going To write this review, it leaves little "seeds", for lack of a better word, all over so I had to clean twice. I tried to shake the broom and get them out by rubbing it with my hand, and now my hand is YELLOW!!!!

This broom sweeps great!......while leaving all of its own dust around. Ugh! It's like fluffy sand. I like the design of this broom but it leaves your floor dirty.

You'll still notice these from time to time. I don't think they'll ever go away.Since these are soft they can be easily maneuver around furniture and such making sweeping less a pain.ALSO there's a warming label in front stating this product contains DEHP which is a harmful chemical.should I be worried here? We use this type of broom in my house hold all the time...**I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.**

I'm a big fan of anything that has tiger grass bristles. They are extremely soft and pick up everything. They fit around everything at my work, from couches to desks and especially filing cabinets!! Being English is my first language, I also liked the fact that I could read about the product and knew what I was buying. Very content.

This broom leaves more fine pieces of the straw behind than it picks up. If you gently shake it you can see them falling off. There is also a warning label on the packaging that it contains traces of lead! Not sure where, perhaps in the binding or coloured paint/tape. I don't feel safe using it

Nice looking broom, however, I will be returning it promptly. What the description failed mention of is that the broom contains harmful chemicals. Thankfully I noticed the warning stickers attached the packaging before using the item. (Photo included) Really unfortunate, as I was looking forward to its usage. This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Make sure to shake the broom outdoors when you get it. Once you do this it's exactly what I wanted. It is light, stylish and useful. It's perfect for surfaces that need a more gentle broom. and gets in cracks and corners that stiffer brooms don't. I really like the overall design; usually I throw my brooms in the closet, but with this one it's so aesthetically pleasing that I don't mind leaving it out. The price is just right as well! Super happy with this purchase.
