So relieved that this REALLY is the FUMARATE, and not L-acetyl, tartrate, or some other variation. The options let you choose 1 bottle (60 capsules), or 2 (120 capsules). But, if you look CLOSELY, the 120 capsules option shows the L-acetyl variation in the picture!! The 60 capsule option shows the Fumarate option! I picked the 60-capsule option, and did in fact, receive the Fumarate variation!! Phew!The Fumarate variation of L-Carnitine has become redonkulously expensive from the other vendor I normally shop with. $30.00 now, up from $15.00!!? And they have been flirting with the $18.00 price tag many times. Nah, this company can do 60 capsules for $9.99. And they GOOD, EASIER to swallow capsules. Go with this company. I've read about L-Carnitine but didn't think I needed it. But since taking it I think I have a better sense of well-being that has replaced my previous attitude that required a lot of trying and effort to just get things done sometimes. Enthusiasm was never in short supply, just not as a regular and consistent feeling. I'm always cautious when trying a new vitamin, and consider the recommended dosage as a maximum amount and so take less. This is something you need to pay attention to and try to be honest in the appraisal, so now it has joined the group of usual vitamins that I take on a "regular" basis. (When you feel a little down, there's that mind/body connection telling you.) That's about the best I can do. I realize that everybody's different and they may or may not experience the same results, but from the product's description as to what it's supposed to do, it appears to be working. This vitamin is in the 1,000 mg dosage, but I also have the 500mg just to see if I can tell the difference. Some vitamins (I had an Uncle who was a Pharmacist and a big advocate of supplements) are too much for your immediate requirements so they're just flushed away, but some vitamins can be over-done and become toxic when you might think that "More is Better" but your body only needs just so much and no more.
