VictorinoxSwiss Pocket Knife Spartan

I’ve had a couple of Swiss army knives over the last two decades. They never wear out - but instead I seem to lose them.Really good selection of blades and tools. The screwdriver and corkscrew are particularly useful.I bought one for my 20+ year old son too ... but that was a mistake. He’s always chewed his nails, and you need nails to open almost all of these blades. If you don’t chew your nails, these are great. If you do, penknives like this probably aren’t for you.

I can't knock the knife, it's exactly as I expected but the blister packaging Victorinox are currenty using is horrible. This is the second knife I've received in a row packed this way and useless for collectors and enthusiasts. They don't even make nice gifts as the size and wrapping required makes them awkward compared to a tiny box.

The Swiss Army Knife has become legendary. The company that makes these produces a large number of them for different professions and activities including fishing, mountaineering as well as many others. They are quality products.The one here is a good general one for ordinary life if such a thing exists. A screwdriver blade, bottle opener, corkscrew, two sharp knives. In short a useful device to take with you when going away, or for some general tasks in the house. This is probably a tool everyone should have. And if you have other needs there are plenty of other Swiss Army Knives to meet them.

There is nothing to dislike, the only slight disappointment being that I hadn't noticed that it lacks the scissors. So I am giving this to a friend and have ordered another version that does have scissors!

A brilliant penknife that from my research seems to be totally illegal in the UK, (Please check for yourselves) I’ve brought two one for my son one for me and so far I have absolutely no complaints.
