The best blades you can get
It hardly seems worthwhile writing a review when you have read what others have said. I have used a bowsaw every week for years and have tried cheap blades and all the top brands and BAHCO are simply the best. I won't use anything else. They cut faster, and last far longer than the next best, so don't waste you time or money on other blades. Just make sure you de-tension the blade at the end of the day. If it's wet at the end of the day, then a quick spray with WD40 is sensible and refit the blade guard if you haven't lost it! They may appear expensive but they last so much longer and cut so much quicker you won't buy anything else after you have tried a BAHCO blade. These are for green wood but work well with dry wood but it's always best to use the correct blade.

Packaging !!
I have absolutely no problem with the product. I'm not sure how long the blade will last or how sharp it will stay. Initial use, however, indicates this is a good product. Blade seems sharp, flexible and cuts through green wood easily. The only problem I have is with the packaging. I bought two blades, each blade including manufacturer's packaging is 580mm X 35mm X 2mm. Why then were they packed in a box 600mm X 260mm X 110mm?By my reckoning, the box could easily accommodate 250 blades not just 2.Come on Amazon, get it together!UPDATEI have now had a chance to use the blade in earnest. Brilliant blade, nearly twice the speed of the generic blade I used previously. See photo, cut in seconds.

Extremely Good Tool.
Its almost a year since I bought the first of 3 blades, the price about £200 more than the 4.99 at the moment, I can't say how long it will last, but definitely the best I've ever had, much sharper and faster at cutting through the wood than many others whether wet or dry its successful on both, there's no trouble with it getting jammed whenever you've cut halfway through wood, something was happening with the old blades i was using previously. I do know Bahco's a good brand as I have other tools such as chisel's of this type, cheap blades are never a success and at this price now the blades are definitely worth the money. I hope its a good while before needed but I'd most likely go for this brand again when I do if available.

Quality blades
I have several bow saws so I needed 21" & 24" blades for wet wood to tackle a beech tree that was getting to be too big for the garden. I had a blade that I thought was good quality but it was not up to the task of beech up to 30cm diameter. Not only is it a quite hard wood to cut but the grain is awkward and, if not careful, will pull off or distort individual teeth which makes it even harder to cut. With the Bahco blades, and with more care, the wood was easier to cut. I cannot really comment on longevity as it depends so much on what is being cut and the care taken but I managed to take down the tree and still have decent blades.I also took out a much smaller willow which, by comparison, was literally like cutting the proverbial butter with these blades. You are probably wondering why I do not have a chainsaw. I have witnessed a number of serious accidents with chainsaws. Also my tree was unpredictable as the previous owners of the house had a habit of driving nails and screws into it which is not great news when chainsawing.

Like the proverbial hot knife to butter
Excellent product. Cuts through wet green wood with so much ease. No effort required; just let the weight of the saw carry it through.I thought the blade fitted to the Bahco 24" Bow Saw on purchase was good but this Raker Tooth blade is something else. Highly recommended.Fantastic value for money. I can't rate it on 'longevity' as only just bought it but if the original Bahco blade is anything to go by then I don't foresee any issues. As for the 'sheerness' rating...I've no idea what that even means.
