I have a wonderful JRT who was very protective of me to the extent my husband could not get close to me. This has helped tremendously. I keep it on a low vibrate setting 25-35 and this is enough to stop the behavior. The fact that the unit is rechargeable is a huge benefit. I highly recommend. I still expect him to bark and act like a dog, it was the aggressive behavior I had to get under control.

Not recommended
This is the second training collar I've ordered, the display on this one works sometimes, the back light doesn't work, feels much lighter and cheaper made then the first one.It doesn't always beep or vibrate either. The belt clip is almost broke after a day's use.The only way I can return it is to print off a label, which I can't do, very irritated with the inability to contact the seller and resolve this, the brand of my first one was Petrainer which work flawlessly until the doggie shredded it. This one looks the same but is not near the quality.

Waste Of Money...
Lasted about 2 days before it fell apart. The shock unit installs poorly to the collar. The shock unit is notched in the center on each side of it to fit on the collar and if the dog drags his neck on something or scratches around it the unit falls off.

Get what you pay for
Worked decently for a bit of time, the shocker became dislodged from the collar now the shocker will not stay attached...

Worked great but the waterproof aspect doesn't work very well
Worked great but the waterproof aspect doesn't work very well. The rubber covers for the charging port do not stay in place. We had the unit for five weeks before water ruined the unit. I would suggest putting a piece of electrical tape over the rubber port cover to secure it better.

Not the best
This product is not the best I've seen. If you are using it, the remote times out and therefore you have to click it on, THEN you can use the deterrent of your choice, therefore causing a delay which does not help with training.
