Proud K9 Liquid Glucosamine Hip and Joint Supplement for Dogs, 32 oz.

We weren't exactly skeptics, but we weren't sure how well this would work. We bought it for our aging Great Pyrenees dog. We let him come inside from the Texas heat during the day, and he was really having a hard time getting up from the finished concrete floor. It had gotten so bad that he couldn't get up without someone's help. He had a hip/knee joint that wouldn't take the extra effort and would collapse out from under him.It wasn't three days after adding this to his food twice a day that I noticed him standing by the door, ready to go out for the evening's work. I thought it must be a fluke, but he kept being able to get up on his own, and even did a frisky little Great Pyr play-dance outside.This stuff really works. The liquid formula is easy to measure and add to food, and the flavor was not an issue at all. I can't recommend it enough.

I love this company that was started by veterans, they donate 10% of profits to veteran charities. They also truly care about their customers and want you to be satisfied. I have received several personal emails from them over time.I started giving our pitbull /terrier mix glucosamine about a year ago because she would get a little sore after running hard etc. She is 10 years old but still runs and plays like a puppy, even though she may be hurting (but this breed knows no pain). Sometimes she would limp a little the next day and then it would go away after a few days. We decided to try this product because it was becoming more frequent. After a few months we realized that after those hard days of play, she may still limp a little - but it did not last very long! And it seems to be not as often either!My dog doesn't mind the flavor at all, although she has never been picky. We just pour some over her food and done.

I'm disappointed in my most recent purchase although my previous purchases were fine. I have a 12+ yr old boxer with hip dysplasia and severe arthritis. Until now, he loved the taste of this so was easy to administer. But he doesn't like this most recent batch. I have to give it in a syringe to get him to take it. Also, the dose cup was broken when it arrived.It's too expensive for all this. Previous purchases were fine and they helped him some, which is why I continue to buy it. I'm now question info my decision.

I have a nine-year old beagle mix, and a six-year old beagle mix, and I purchased the supplement primarily as a preventative measure. Both dogs are fairly active, but I had noticed that Pauli (9) had been getting a bit slower recently; Norma's (6) hind legs are longer than her front legs, so I figured that starting her on a supplement now would help her as she ages. I have been giving them the supplement for about two weeks now, and have noticed that they seem more agile. I pour it over their kibble at breakfast and at dinner as the recommended dosage suggests, and they eat it without hesitation (and lick the bowl when the food is gone). I also really love the fact that it is made in the USA and that it supports our veterans! Thanks for providing this awesome supplement! Will be purchasing again and I would recommend this supplement without reservation.

While the product didn't work for us the company has expectional customer serviceUnfortunately, this seems to really upset my dogs stomach. We tried feeding it, after a meal, but he turns his nose up. Tried slipping it in with his meal, and once he figures out it's there, will not finish his meal. We had to stop giving it to him.

My sweet girl is 12yrs old and sometimes I can tell her joints are bothering her so I started putting this in her food. Funny that she likes the flavor. She'll eat her dry food faster with the liquid glucosamine and salmon oil on her dry food. I'm happy to have found something to help her.

Was using another product previously and Amazon does not presently list its' availability, so I chose this product to continuecontrolling arthritic pain in my pet. At this point in time the product seems to be controlling the pain to a management level.After using it for another several weeks I may be able to give a more defined response.

A little over a week of giving this to both my dogs (16 year old jack russel terrier and a 12 year old German shepard) both of their hips starting completely giving out. They both would be standing on a wood floor and all four legs would give out. It was very sad. I thought we were going to have to put them down. Went to the VET and he said to stop giving this supplement. After a few days of stopping, they seem to be ok...Be careful in what you give your pet and please discuss what you give them with a vet first..
