Edge Tape is for covering the edges of plywood and other non-wood edges and surfaces that need to be nicely finished. Common uses are for furniture and cabinetry, but edge tape will adhere to nearly any type of surface. All edge tape has a heat-sensitive glue backing and applies quickly with an iron.

Great Stuff!
Of the 8 or 10 feet of this I've used, I've found it to be color/grain consistent and both easy to apply and trim off. Holds a finish really well, too.I may update the review after I get the next 160 feet on the large book cases. :)

junk edge banding
I purchased the 250' roll of edge banding for a project. I didn't pay close attention to my helper until he ironed on over half of the roll. The splices are approx 4-5 ft apart and look like absolute crap! I had to iron off the stuff and go buy new edge banding at the local home center which cost an arm and a leg but at least I could see what I was looking at. Don't buy this junk!

inconsistent width
the tape worked fine and was of general good quality, but the width was inconsistent and not full width so I was unable to use several feet of it.
