Other than the poor writing, lame dialogue, and implausibly stupid plot, it was awesome!
1st Coulter book I’ve read. I decided to start in the middle of her series, assuming her later books would be better than an author’s first books. I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of depth in characters, plot, dialogue, the whole kit & caboodle. Drudgery trying to complete this tome. Wish I could recapture the 15-20 hours of my life I wasted. This is right in the heart of the genre of books I enjoy, but this was so poorly composed I wonder who the 9,000+ people are who gave this 5 stars.

Very good
I mostly enjoyed the book, but you keep putting more and more psychic warfare in your books. That makes me uncomfortable, because as I know there are powers of good and evil in the world. I feel you being drawn into writing more and about things that ordinary people really shouldn't mess with. You can get in over your head unless you are very well grounded in Christianity and maybe then. To you, you are writing a great thriller, but I feel you're getting into deep. I read my Bible daily so I know there's mysticism there, not all of it is good. I know many people can be drawn in for fun,or just to see, but sometimes Satan grabs hold of you and won't let go with out a long hard fight. For your sake and the sake of your readers, you really need to keep that area weaker in your writings unless you really want those evil powers dominating you.

Grabbed me and didn't let go
Special Agent Lacy Sherlock is in a security line at JFK airport when a man in line pulls out a grenade and she’s able to stop the terrorist. And that’s just the diversion. She’s called back to NY to work with the FBI’s terrorism unit when the terrorist says he’ll only speak to her and right now he’s their only lead. Her husband, Special Agent Dillon Savich, head of the Criminal Apprehension Unit, is working an unusual homicide where a man is stabbed in public by a friend with an athame, but the murderer doesn’t understand why he’s there, how he got there, and had to be told he’d just killed his friend. It’s just the tip of the iceberg that shakes up a town. This one flows somewhat differently as it’s the first time the husband and wife duo have had to work apart. It has a different feel to it and I liked it. Lots of action and tension involving Sherlock’s case, especially when the head terrorist decides she needs to be taken out. She can definitely hold her own. Savich’s life is also in danger and his comes in a manner more unusual to fight and the truth difficult to prove. There is the book’s couple du jour. You don’t realize who they are until about 31% into the book. Not what I’d consider a romance, but they are definitely interested in the other and plan on seeing if it will go further. The story grabbed me right away and kept its hooks in me to the end. I also found it one of the more emotional stories in the series.

Fabulous read - highly recommen it!
Every book that Catherine Coulter writes is pure magic. My love of her books goes back more than 15 years and I would never miss one. Her books featuring hunky Dillon Savich and feisty Lacey Sherlock, a husband and wife team who are both FBI Special Agents, are always exciting, with loads of drama and thrills and plots that never leave the reader wanting. These two characters are two of the most capable and likeable characters in any book in the thriller and suspense genre available in the market today. This book, Coulter's latest, Nemesis, has got to be her best to date, hands down, no contest. While waiting in line to clear the security check point at JFK airport in New York City Sherlock confronts a terrorist who is ready to toss a hand grenade into the crowd. From that instant she is working terrorist plots that spanning the globe from Boston to New York, to Washington, DC and to the United Kingdom. Sherlock becomes as big and important a target for the terrorists as the cathedral bombings they have planned in NY and the UK.While Sherlock has her hands full avoiding bullets and bombs up in the Northeast, Dillon is busy down in Virginia investigating supernatural killings that are connected to weird phenomena and Wicca and they are now trying to murder him, too. Thank goodness he is a mental giant himself and can fight in any realm. The two plots intertwine and twist and turn and meander in unexpected directions with so much plotting and fast action and snappy dialogue that it keeps you riveted to your seat. You won't be able to help yourself by rushing to the end and then you will want to start reading it all over again. This is a GREAT book.

FBI Series...Savich and Sherlock
Catherine Coulter brought our favorite FBI agents,Sherlock and Savich to the fore again with mystery, flair and edge of seat plots. She will have guessing as to who is the ring leader with Sherlock and at the same time have Savich involved in another plot that will have you bouncing from one to the other. At the same time she introduces a new FBI agent with Sherlock and brings back Cal to help there are many instances that what you would think is going to happen or what you will think that the plot is but Catherine throws in a loop that takes you away from second guessing her goal.I have always been a fan of Catherine Coulter and have bought and collected all her books from regency, historical, contemporary and most of all her FBI series and her writing with J.T. Ellison on the Brit in the FBI series. As in all her books she gives you a plot that will have you glued till you finish and will wonder why and how she could of ended it as she did when you thought that she was going totally in a different and predictable ending.Even though Sherlock and Savich are in this book and we(fans) love them you will want to reread if not start reading the FBI series again and will not be able to stop waiting like me for the next FBI, Brit in the FBI series or anything that Catherine Coulter's writes she is truly a gifted author to read and to collect her books so that you can read them over and over...

Ritmo rápido!
Adorei o livro, trata-se de um thriller de ritmo bem rápido e com um ótimo senso de humor. Recomendo ler em pouco tempo, se demorar muito pode ser que seja preciso reler algumas partes.

Spellbinding
Well worth the time to read this book. More fast paced action than most other books that are around. A definite addition to anyone's library as an exceptional read.

A good read but at times disconcerting and confusing.
A story split line into two separate ,non-related plots is a little confusing One minute the reader is in Washington DC dealing with witches and murderers. Then in the next chapter we are in London or wherever the story is leading coping with the master schemes of a fanatic who is blowing up "National Monuments". At one point I had to retrace my thoughts by rereading the previous chapter to catch up on the events of that chapter.
