ATL5415W 6-Piece Plastic Hose Clamp Set, 1/2-Inch

These are decent hose clamps. There is nothing remarkably good or bad about them and they are well suited for their intended purpose. This is not a purchase I would normally review; however, because I lost $20 and 4 hours of my life due to the sizing ambiguity I felt compelled to write a review in the hope of saving others the same experience.The size set forth in the name of the product is intended for hosing with the same size internal diameter (ID). i.e. the 3/4 inch clamps perfectly fit my hose that is 3/4 ID by 1 inch outside diameter (OD). (The seller's answer in the Q & A is incorrect). The 1 inch clips are to big for a hose with a 1 inch OD.However, there appear to be exceptions. I was also working with 1/2 ID by 3/4 OD hosing. The 1/2 inch clamps were to small and the 3/4 clamps were to big...In order to use Two Little Fishies clamps I had to replace the 1/2 ID by 3/4 OD thick walled hosing with thinner walled 1/2 ID by 5/8 OD hosing which the 1/2 inch clamps fit perfectly...Hope this helps someone...

Too small to fit what they were advertised to fit. Also very wimpy. It is advertised to be a hose clamp for aquarium equipment.

Worked perfect for my canister filter hoses

it works. kinda od a pain to get really tight and even more of a pain when you have to undo it

great in aquarium use so regular hose clamps don't rust and leach into ur water

For me these clamps are unusable. I had ordered Two Little Fishies 3/4” clamps. They would not close far enough to grip onto the tubing ( vinyl tubing od aprox 0.82”) so I ordered these 1/2” clamps (I do not see a 5/8” clamp listed on Amazon) these clamps when installed on the tube will not close to a point where the teeth begin to interlock. Perhaps all would have been fine when using thin wall tubing. The vinyl tubing that I have is the thick wall stuff, the kind that Eheim often supplies with their pumps. Hopefully this review will help someone.
