Description

This is an Eduard Models 1/48 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Yakovlev Yak-3, a World War II era fighter aircraft fielded by the Soviet Union. Model kit features: Engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit, boxed-in wheel wells, separately molded propeller blades and optional 3-piece open or 1-piece closed canopy. Also includes wheel/canopy masks and photo-etch parts (including color instrument panels and seatbelts). Decals and color painting guide for 5 VVS aircraft: 'White 360' flown by Col Yakimenko of 151 GIAP, Czechoslovakia, 1945; 'White 10' flown by Lt Col Yeryomin of 31 GIAP, Czechoslovakia, 1945; 'White 15' flown by Lt Rogovoi of 64 GIAP, Baltic Front , fall 1944; Gen Zarharov of 303 IAD, East Prussia, fall 1944 and Lt Col Maslov of 157 IAP, Germany 1945.
