This pair of digital thermometers came with 2 extra button batteries and 2 extra suction cups for attaching tank sensors. I've used them for over a month and have only the best to say about them. They update the reading about every 10-15 seconds. They make it very easy to monitor my aquariumtemps to keep my baby turtles in a safe range. Inexpensive but they work great.

Likes: size, easy to operate, long thermocouples.Dislikes: specs say it’s accurate to 0.1F, but there was a 1.2F (0.6C) degree difference between the two units after sitting in a lake with thermocouples <1/2” (~ 1 cm) apart for over 15 minutes. It’s not a big deal for my application, so I may keep them. We’ll see.

Great price and easy used

These things are junk. I bought them because I bought a used fish tank that came with a manual adjust heater that I wanted to verify settings on. I thought the heater was just terrible because the temp was all over the place, 5-6 degrees temp swings. Turns out it was the thermometer, which also now has issues powering on and off. I went ahead and bought a heater with a digital controller and verified with my meat thermometer and they're spot on while this piece of junk continues to read +/-5 degrees when it decides to power on. Since these come in a two pack I put the other one in to see if there's any difference and the second one reads 25+ degrees off lol... Yes the temp probe is in good water flow, even if it wasn't it's 74 degrees in the house and the thermometer is reading in the 50's. Worst purchase ever..

The thermometers that I received were so inaccurate as to be useless for use in my aquarium. Returned.
