3 stars on stability. I have round rails to mount on and this did not work for me. Be sure you have oval or better yet flat, stability increases the flatter the mounting surface is.

This kickstand works great. It is easy to install, easy to adjust the height, and never gets in the way. I don't know why I spent so many years leaning my bike against any available surface, when this kickstand works so much better.

My wife was totally against me installing this kick stand on her bicycle. Her bike was constantly falling on the garage floor, laying in the grass, laying on the street, sidewalk, etc. Since l installed it her bike sits perfectly upright, doesn't fall down and stays free of scratches and dirt. She hasn't said a word about the "unnecessary" kick stand since. It must be working...

I am a senior and getting back to bike riding. My old fashion kick stand hasn't worked in years. I put this on with the included hex wrenches, easy just tighten, but first make sure the peddles don't hit against it. I adjusted the length a bit and tightened it down, works great. Love it. Have a 26" 8 speed. If your lookin, this is a good one. Came with a cover that can go on the stand and tube patches and tire removal tool.
