It plays my DVDs really great and this is the second one, I've ordered in two years. They play my DVD's very good, however it stopped playing 6 days after the 30 day return policy ran out

The media could not be loaded. Temperamental, not all region 1 (United states) DVDs work. It keeps saying unsupported discs for DVDs that I’ve been playing for years on other players that I know work. Picture quality is okay, it was an easy set up. Says no disc when a disc is put in or unsupported.

It works pretty well overall, but the remote is unreliable and has limited functionality, mostly tied to the capabilities of the DVD player. Navigating the menu and episodes with the remote is difficult—often, it just leads to an image of an island and a company email address. Also, I had to buy an HDMI adapter to connect the DVD player to my smart TV.

This ALL REGION is a must for anyone who likes to watch DVDs. The ALL REGION capability allows you to purchase DVDs that are less expensive in North America because they are in a different region format. I bought this unit as a backup to my original. It was reasonably priced and I recommend acquiring it. DVD series that are quite expensive may be offered at less than half price because of the different region in which they are formatted. Having this unit allows you to watch such items with no problem. I bought the complete series War and Remembrance for under $30. So this unit is well worth the money.

I have a massive collection of recordable bootleg concert DVD's and other selections not available in the digital world, so while the world has moved away from physical media, it's still the only way to access huge swaths of my collection. Finding suitable players can be a challenge. They are often cheaply made, often don't play some recordables clean and if I can't find or use the remote, it becomes useless.This unit however is easily the best DVD player I bought since my first one over 20 years ago and that one cost $125! Nice sturdy case and most importantly all the function buttons are the front panel so if the remote batteries are dead I can still use it. I mostly play recordables which can be finicky and it has yet to reject one or skip or any other flaws. Highly recommended for those of us still using physical media.
