Skeptical purchase....then pleasantly surprised!
Out of the box, it worked and looked good. Tested every line on each snake, all of them worked. Fit in my rack just fine. I will update at a future point, once it's been gigged. Fingers crossed!

High Quality for the price range
Well, I just got this and have not had the chance to use it yet. It seems super well-built. I prefer this system because you don't need to cable everything on both ends. Snakes are fixed to the unit, and thereadditional cables. Looking forward to using it and seeing how it behaves. I mounted it on a gator shallow 2U case rack, snakes fit inside as well, so it is a perfect match.

Great item... after you file it down to fit in a case
Like others have said, it doesn't fit in many cases at first (depending on your case). I had to file down both outer sides quite a lot. So after a purchase of a metal file and a couple hours of hard labor, I was able to file down the steel just enough to have it fit in my mixer rack.I also swapped out the male ends for adjustable 90 degree angle ones (about 10 hours of work cause I suck at soldering). Overall though, I don't notice any noise on these and it's worked well in the few outdoor gigs I've done the past couple months (so far as just our own mixer use, but soon to be used as an IEM rack if/when we play larger indoor venues again with their own system - assuming that ever happens again... I'm looking at you qoviid).Great value overall, but I would have happily paid a little extra for it to be sized correctly rather than the extra labor involved.

A bad rap?
Got this snake used to set up an IEM rack with a Behringer XR18. I used with the XR for a year and half and have now gone to a Presonus 24R (more channels) and use this splitter AND a Proreck 8 channel.I've had ZERO problems with both of these inexpensive snakes. I've had soundguys balk and try to tell me how crummy the SA stuff is. Normally, I'd agree with them as they are the experts. However, I've had Zero issues with this snake. I did have one guy tell me that one of the channels was hosed up. He tested it and saw that it had an issue. However, I got it home, did my own test and it was fine. Used it for gigs afterward and it was still fine. SO the 'issue' he found was on his end.My experience has been solid with this gear. I'm sure others have had worse experiences.

Great buy
Has been very durable, works great with no noise or any issues. All cable ends are clearly marked/tagged with numbers.
