You don't have to turn it off but you can to save battery life. To turn it off turn it over, there is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse,

Q: How long is the mouse? Would like to use it for a laptop an don't want a full-sized mouse. I have another one that's only 4" from front to back.

It's approx. 3 7/8" long by 2 1/4" (approximate because it is an irregular shape, and should be no more than a 1/16" off) Should do the trick for you. I use it for my laptop and love it! I hope this helps :)

The ad is misleading and is not a 2-pack set. I had ordered the mouse, and was disappointed to see only single mouse, and not a 2-pack set as advertised. Misleading advertise

The supplier advertised that mouse comes in 2 packs. It is misleading !!!It is only one mouse and its USB stick for the wifi.Not sure if this is a legal to advertise different to what actually there.
