When unboxing the rake, the first thing I noticed was that the rake had slots to hold the two-part handle. It's a great feature making it easy to store the rake when it's disassembled for storage. (Thumbs up!) It took just a few minutes to assemble. You can use box wrenches, sockets, or even adjustable wrenches to put it together. The tabs that hold the handle are solid, which appears to be a problem with several other rakes out there in the market. It has a generous coating of paint, which should last a long time without rusting. It's easy to clean with water from a hose. When comparing prices, it's more on the expensive side but I think it was well worth the extra dollars for this solid piece of equipment. I purchased the Landzie Fork Aerator in the spring and it is also a solid piece of equipment.

I like the fact this tool can be easily disassembled and stored flat. It is also fairly heavy, which helps push sand and dirt around. The only aspect I did not like (which I thought would not bother me) is the backside of the tines are open so they easily collect sand and dirt. It is not that big of a deal, but would have chosen a closed tine if the option was available. Other than that, very nice product.

My dogs dig holes in the backyard. And i took to filling holes but over time my yard became really irregular doing that. I got this tool to help smooth things out and it has done an amazing job. Its very sturdy and easy to use.

I don't typically write reviews. I'm not a bot. If you need one of these tools, just stop scrolling and get this one. Great quality and finish. The pole is as sturdy as I could imagine one being. Would recommend. Might buy again in a different size to have both.

Okay, not a professional at all, with that said, this tool was amazing. I have a 800sqft front yard that I brought in about 10 yards of turn. After shoveling the dirt, I used solely this tool to level out my front yard. Now I have a beautiful front lawn that’s relatively flat.The tool was sturdy and did not bend or have a h issues after 10 yards of top soil. The weight of the tool is spot on and the handle has a nice rubber guard for your hands.It was easy to assemble, just a few bolts and washers.

Rake worked ok... It wanted to go deep into the soft dirt I was leveling. I had some small piles(8 to 12 inches) of powered dirt that I was trying to level over existing grass in a small depression. It did level the dirt after working at it. It worked better after I leveled the pile over the spot first with a garden rake. I still got a smoother finish using the garden rake without as much effort as this leveling rake.Not sure i would buy this style of rake again. Going to add it to my assortment of hand tools.
