I bought this for my husband after he came out of hospital. He was unable to shave himself so I did this for him. Thank goodness for such a great product. It has a sleek design and performs so well. Shaves ok but the trimmer is too narrow and hopeless.

Needed a replacement for an old Remington shaver. Excellent item, easy to charge via USB cable on one end and remington connection (needs a USB charger - not included, only wire sent), charges quickly. Has a quick 5 minute charge which is useful when charging in a rush for a single shave. Full charge takes about one hour. The non-slip material is easy to handle. Blades are more robust than previous model, look easier to replace. Good indication when low on charge. Swivel head ensures clean shave. States both wet and dry shave. Great replacement for a prior foil shaver. Would definitely recommend.

shaver good, trimmer fairly poor

I have used Remington electric razors for several years buying 2-3 of them. When the battery failed on my last one I looked at their range and saw this USB one which I was attracted to as I have compact USB chargers at home and I can share a charger with other devices when I travel. The razor seems as good as their others, the battery lasts me 4-5 days, it comes with a charging cable with a USB A (rectangular) connector but no charger plug, no foil cover except for a 'stubble styler' which almost gives the same protection. I have had it for 2 weeks now and am quite satisfied particularly as the price on Amazon was very competitive.NB. I am concerned that there does not appear to be any replacement foil/cutters for this model - it may be because it is new; if not this razor is probably a poor investment as on past experience I will need a new foil/cutter in a year (or an entirely new razor).Update: the Remington SPF-F45 replacement head fits this razor but it is quite expensive, about £29.00, but the razor is still working well (Dec 2022).Update: 2yrs on from purchase, will probably replace, have bought 2-3 new foil/cutters over the years but is now not giving a good smooth shave. I suspect the battery does not retain enough charge to power the cutter forcefully and fast enough, certainly after 1 use it does not do a clean shave as it used to. But it wasn't that expensive (Aug 2023).

I'd been thinking of converting to an electric shaver for some time but I didn't want to spend a fortune. All I wanted was a simple no-nonsense machine for a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised when I bought this. With the battery fully charged it gives a close shave, although I have to over some parts two or three times - no big deal. The battery seems to last a good while and this shaver is very easy to keep clean. A winner all round in my book.

I looked for ages looking for a good quality shaver that works well on my skin and is easy to use and this one does just that.Recommended
