Very detailed and I loved the breakdown of each scripture!

Zane Hodges, may he rest in peace, is no dummy! He addresses all the standard interpretations regarding the epistles of John respectfully. But he is extremely skillful in bringing in all the data, the logic, the language, the culture, the issues, etc. into a package of incredibly believable truth. My advice is that you utilize this well organized package for any Bible study. But beyond that, if there are questions or challenges to Biblical doctrine in your fellowship, in your church, or in relationships with the "enlightened", refer to this text. Awesome reliable book totally Biblical connected​

Excellent book that aids the 1, 2 and 3rd epistles of John. If a seminary student or instructor, you can't afford not having this book. Prompt service and in good condition. The late Zane C. Hodges was certainly an expert in his field, to the benefit of all who serves for biblical wisdom. A must have book!

I thought that there was not as much information in the book as the writer brought out. Hodges never left his readers without a clear understanding of God's love and the works of the anti-Christ in the world. This book was well worth the investment of buying and using it for school and Bible study.
