A Superbly Realistic Tiger!
The figure is wonderfully detailed, accurate and realistic. The pose the tiger is positioned in is fantastic! As a lifelong lover of animals and someone who as a child collected and played, for hours, with animal figures, I'm thrilled that my three-year-old grandson is nuts about them too. He is specifically enthralled by "sea creatures," and I have almost run out of news ones to get for him and so I have been slowly but surely introducing more and more "jungle animals" to his menagerie. As a kid, I would have died for this and the other superb Papo animal figures and my grandson loves them too. Papo offers a very wide variety of figures including a lot of rare and obscure species and you and the child in your life can build a very impressive menagerie if you so desire. The only possible drawback to these figures is their cost. I believe their value easily matches or exceeds their prices, but reproducing a 40 piece set of figures of lesser size and quality; that you can purchase for around $15 - $20, will cost you at least 10 times that much if you buy only Papo figures. Their larger size is, to me, a very big plus but it can make matching them with smaller, cheaper figures a problem for older children who will be more cognizant of the difference. However, they are not so expensive that someone can't afford to collect them over an extended period of time - assuming the child in your life maintains, as I did, his or her fascination with animals for a period of years. As tigers go, this figure is, in my opinion, the best available. A word of mild caution: It is made of nearly indestructible plastic and is very rigid. It will not bend and can't be posed in different positions. My grandson doesn't seem to mind, but some kids like "squishier" animal figure...this one is not "squishy."

Go big or go home!
The balls are quite prominent. Otherwise very cool, well painted, sturdy. No kids so I have the luxury of keeping such items.

Terrific tiger!
Going in a king tiger diorama I am building! This is beautifully done and I can’t say enough about the art of it and painting! A beautiful addition to the tank named after it ! Works perfectly for 1/16 or 1/18 scale with no additional work needed! Quality is outstanding on my example!

Good solid item, paint job could be better as there was black smudge on inside leg
Could have been cheaper priced at 10.00 but still a good display piece

4.5 stars
There was a time when I would have given this five stars. Easily. However, I have gotten pickier of late due to excuses like "supply chain shortages". But this really is the best standing tiger in a Circus pose with his front legs/arms extended in a boxing pose with all claws exposed. Yes, he is small and yes there is an indication of a scrotal pouch (don't body shame him, ladies}. The paint job is spot-on for a mass-produced sculpt. It is very durable, so unless your kid leaves him on a hot plate or the stove he should be good. And I doubt a four-year-old would swallow him; however, some kids are just stupid. I will be using this as an illustration reference, he's that good.

The cat's meow
He's perfect!!!!!! I've read several reviews about him, and the negative ones all complained about how small he was, but one look at all the detail, and frankly speaking, size doesn't always matter. I'm an artist, so I bought him originally for a 3D anatomy reference, but I'm glad I have him now, just for himself. The muscles, tendons, anatomy of the paws, the mouth... Ever see a cat yawn? Have you looked at the roof of their mouths? The ribbing on it? This little guy even has that detail, and all it's teeth. The eyes look like it's looking at you. It's such amazingly realistic and beautiful work. To the artist who created this piece, and the painter/s, wow. To anyone debating buying this? Do it. You wont regret it. Yes, he's small, but think about all you get in that little package, and he leaves room in his smallness, for you to collect other similar models.

Incredible!
I love tigers and I mostly seen them in a walking or crouching or laying down positions. This one is on the attack and it's detailed down to the claws. No articulation. Standing just over 4" tall the expression, position, details and paint job, would have you think of the real beast immediately and how majestic these animals are. Papo as always, making a great product.
