Quite surprised
I just received this today & I have a couple of things to report. first though, I have had experience a couple of times in the past shopping for and purchasing this type of after market turn signal switch just to be disappointed with the items that I came across. For this current project, a 1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep, I was completely against going this route this time based on previous experience, but after installing my new wiring harness & figuring out how I want my lighting system to work, I decided to take another chance. Well, it has only been out of the box for an hour and this thing feels and operates as if it was made in '51, and it is going to fit my Jeep as if it was a factory made piece. This thing is heavy, compact, simple, and has a look that fits my project perfectly. As I said, it's fresh out the box, so I may have opinions after installation (tomorrow). I will add to this post with positive or negative feedback when it's installed. As for the other person who rated this as two stars, They should have returned it and got the one they ordered..

Great for old Jeeps and Scouts
Surprisingly high quality metal casing and lever, as I was honestly expecting something a bit cheesy. The instructions were pretty awful, though, and confusing (hence four rather than 5 stars). Once wired in everything worked fine but a light was constantly on inside the switch, even with the ignition off. I ended up opening up the switch and cutting the power lead to the light, which was easy to do. I way have wired something slightly incorrectly, but again, the instructions were very vague and offered little in the way of assistance.

FAR Superior to the imported junk
I can say first hand after wasting a hour and a half testing and retesting all my wiring to find my 1/3 the cost initially purchased China made switch defective, this one works GREAT, Looks the same, and didnt require any testing. Should have bought the USA made one in the first place, now the other $17 is in the trash. Cheap life lesson so long as I remember it...
