I like it.
I bought this reed with a bit of a skeptical expectation, but I just admit I am thoroughly surprised and pleased. I’m playing on a Yahama YAS-62, which has a nice full sound. I’ve tried numerous brands and strengths of cane reeds, am gotten good results, but versatility has always been an issue. I bought a 2.25 strength in these and wow!( I usually buy 3s in cane reeds, and Sam’s them a little only I am happy with the sound.) I read some reviews and took some advice on strength.) I feel I can play sweet or aggressive on the same reed. I will admit that my bottom lip does seem to hurt a little more than normal. But the sound is awesome. Gonna try on soprano as well.

Free blowing Reed
I'm an adult/mature beginner and was managing with 1.5/2.0 cane reeds on my AS400 horn, but did spend a lot of time on reed-maintenance - including polishing the reeds with my home-made reedgeek type of tool. Then, the good reeds out of the box were short-lived as cane-reeds have a very short finite useful play-time.Was putting off purchasing the Légère synthetic reed because of the cost per, but finally bit the bullet and purchased a Signature-cut 2.0 strength after a lot of reading/research.My son - who was an intermediate Saxophonist in the school-band several years ago managed to use the Signature 2.0 but there was a bit of a struggle. As for me, although I could play a few tunes, I could not sustain the higher air-column/pressure needed to make this Sig 2.0 work. That's when I ordered this Légère American-cut 1.5. The difference is phenomenal! No more wasted time in maintaining the cane-reeds. Anytime and every time I pick up my Sax, this American-cut 1.5 does not let me down. It just plays and plays - as long I want to blow my horn.By far I found this Légère American-cut 1.5 to be good sounding overall - for easy articulation (and blowing) with mid, lower, and upper registers - without any issues. At this time I'm unable to speak about its durability and service-life. Time will tell.I'm no expert, but based on my own experience, I highly recommend this Légère American-cut reeds for all beginners.

Cañas muy buenas
Las cañas legere son muy buenas, no necesitan mojarse como las de madera, su respuesta es muy rápida, los agudos los alcanzas fácilmente. Yo utilizo la caña con una boquilla media abierta marca barbley pop custom.

Nice reed
These are responsive reeds. I use them on Vandoren T55 tenor and A45 alto mouthpieces. Legere reeds tend to harder than the equivalent cane reed.
